Pogba And Lukaku Linked With Old Trafford Exits

Paul Pogba and Romelu Lukaku could be set for a summer departure with £200 million the reported combined asking price for the duo. United have endured another disappointing season and despite the initial upturn in fortunes under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, their form has dipped once again as they fight to finish in the top four.

Both Pogba and Lukaku have been widely criticised for their performances this season and been consistently linked with moves away from the club. Now, United could be set to cut their losses on the pair as Solskjaer has the mammoth task of rebuilding the squad ahead of next season.

Pogba’s next destination has long been thought to be Real Madrid with the midfielder reportedly wanting to be coached by Zinedine Zidane, who was re-appointed at the Bernabeu earlier this season. The United board are hoping to sell him for a fee of £120 million, a tidy £31 million profit after signing him for £89 million in the summer of 2016, despite the fact Solskjaer has suggested he will be at Old Trafford next term.

Lukaku has also been linked with the exit door after drifting in and out of the starting line up for much of the season. Juventus and Inter Milan have both been strongly linked with a move for the 25-year-old, who has scored 15 goals in all competitions this season. Like with Pogba, United are hoping to profit on Lukaku despite his average form, with £80 million the asking price.
