Poland 2019: Utin Targets Win Against Qatar

Flying Eagles captain Ikouwem Utin has stated in clear terms that the two –time runners up of the FIFA U-20 World Cup, Nigeria will go all out for a win when they take on Qatar in their opening match of Group D at the Tychy Stadium reports Completesports.com.

Both teams have never met at this level before and left back, Utin who recently joined Israeli club, Maccabi Haifa on a four-year deal adds that a win on Friday will boost the team’s confidence ahead of their remaining group games.

In the midfield, England –based duo Nnamdi Ofoborh and Ayotomiwa Dele-Bashiru, as well as AC Perugia of Italy’s former junior international Kingsley Michael will star in a three-man midfield.

England –based Chinonso Emeka, Norway –based Jerome Adams, Czech Republic-based Tijani Muhammed, Sweden –based Henry Offia and home-based Success Makanjuola vying for available spots in attack.

Meanwhile, Friday’s game kicks off at 5pm Nigeria time. The second match of Group D, between Ukraine and the USA, will begin at 7.30pm Nigeria time.
