FC Porto have provided an update on the injury sustained by Super Eagles defender Zaidu Sanusi in Tuesday night’s UEFA Champions League clash against Atletico Madrid.
Sérgio Conceição’s side won the tie 2-1 to top their group.
Sanusi left the pitch eight minutes after the break after picking up the injury.

The 25-year-old was replaced by Brazil defender Wendell.
“Nigerian defender was substituted in the 53rd minute
Zaidu, who left supported by his teammates in the 53rd minute of the game against Atlético de Madrid, having replaced Wendell, presented muscle complaints in the left adductor and will be evaluated by the clinical department,” reads a statement on the club’s official website.
The 25-year-old could miss Porto’s league clash against Pacos de Ferreira this weekend.
He also remains a doubt for Nigeria’s upcoming international friendly against Portugal in Lisbon on November 17.
