Why make Aribo an overnight attacker, na him natural position be that??? Oga Peseiro, Portugal go wipe una Oraimo cord oh, shey u wan chop wotowoto dis nite ni

    • U be mumu go check am for Southampton matches

      • Richie 1 year ago

Southampton and Super Eagles na the same thing?
Yes, you might cite Mikel’s situation with Chelsea and Super Eagles back then as well; but Aribo and Mikel, na the same player? Dem be twin for playing style?? My guy, no dey mumu laidis for outside oh abeg

    • onwajunior 1 year ago

I don’t think th editor is correct. This looks more like a 4-3-3 formation. Aribo moves to the midfield…Moses and Lookman operate upfront from the wings and Moffi in the middle.

      • Richie 1 year ago

No mind Bj…..like say him know wetin him dey talk. The REAL Aribo will shine in midfield and NOT attack, Southampton or no Southampton pls

        • JOEL 1 year ago

Riche you don’t know what you are saying. Aribo thrives way more and does huge damage when he’s close to the opposition box. You are the one that don’t know what you are talking about. This is the best position he utilised most when he was in Rangers

          • Richie 1 year ago

And THAT’S the point I’m making— whether Rangers or Southampton, Chelsea or Bayern Munich— does his playing pattern with his club match that of his National Team??
I want you guys to THINK first before typing please.
Ever since you met Aribo donning the Green-White-Green; have you ever seen him play the role of support striker? Even if he ever did, did he shine? Abi una dey whyne me ni? Forget about his Club for the moment please, focus on NATIONAL TEAM duties

Aribo’s favourite position is playing behind the top striker. He is supporting Moffi while giving numbers to the midfield.

      I think It’s a good line up

  • Great set up. The way I see it, he’s playing his personnel to their strengths. Peseiro os detailed. I like that. But who’s in goal? The report didn’t state that.

This is the best formation for you, aribo has got his favorite position, behind a striker, lets see if he can offer more than iheanacho, i think the team will switch to 433 in second half bringing in etebo for aribo and likely moses simon for chukueze and maybe moffi for dessers osayi for ebueyi. Depends on how the game goes anyways. The team have a solid bench and we will bit portugal in lisbon.

I guessed this right. From the camp updates I got my team list right. Aribo will be playing from the offensive midfield position/ behind the striker and I can’t wait to see how it’ll go.
    Nice team selection.

  • I so wish Osimhen played this game that guy na 2 in one player!

    • JOEL 1 year ago

Ugo, na una dey give that guy wings. Sincerely..you have a player that has already hit double figures in lique 1 and you are not even rating that one but crying over someone that doesn’t see the importance of this game. Abeg make una park one side jaree. Na we dey make these players to believe that they are larger than life

      • @Joel i feel you there bro. But lets be honest with our sef. Osimhen quality wise is what Mane is to Senegal and What Salah is to Egypt. Moffi is a good Talent but he is not on the same level with Osimhen. Osimhen na another kin baller Agba Baller na wettin im be. .

You know me now. When it comes to Osimhen na me dey tell una say he is the face of Naija Ball. He just need to understand that Nigeria is bigger than him. Even me sef if he pull another stunt like that again i no go favour am again anything nff won do to am I go support amm with my full chest even if it is not calling him up again. Mind you Sadiq Umar is still on the mend.

The last time aribo played behind the striker was against Ghana in Abuja and he was very poor on that day.. I won’t be surprised if he is neutralized today but I wish him well.

Bruno and ebuehi are my fear for tonight, they are new to this team although ebuehi has played for super eagles for yrs he is yet to cement his place in the team, while Bruno is a new boy and can be used as a weak link to torment our defense due to lack of experience..

Wishing the team the best of luck!

    • Richie 1 year ago

Ebuehi with the “glass” body; what do you expect?
And of course, you can’t use glass to make cement……just saying

      • Richie ur brain dull ..person dey play in Italy u dey talk say hin get glass body .shey Portugal players put iron for body nii. Apparently this is the best 11 we can produce as at today. God bless super eagles

        • Na lie Raphael Onyedika and Osimhen, Isaac Success is still to come in I do not know why success is not in this team I will take him over some wingers wey dey that squad now personally. He is doing well in Italy. Very soon he will start smashing in Goals.

          • Also Umar Sadiq na baller too. When fit. Nigeria have just been selecting mumu old legs for long meanwhile as of now if we just select on merit AfCon Final is minimum requirement for this group

  • Richie 1 year ago

Bj…..Bjjjjjj…..NATIONAL TEAM not CLUB for now, FOCUSSSSSSSSSSS, oh lord, na wah o

Where is Ebuehi’s consistency with the Super Eagles??????? Oya answer! Instead of raining reckless curses on yourself (and not me)

PS; Dis kain tin wey you even talk, make the virus no go catch Osimhen too oh, cos one day, na so dem go freeze am out of Super Eagles if him sef no take time..though Ebuehi and Osimhen na two different people anyways

  • Mutum 1 year ago

Good line up…let’s see what onyeamechi will bring to this setup. My fear is ekong who makes silly mistakes. My man aribo show us what u got
