JT Poston secured his first PGA Tour title when winning the Wyndham Championship by one shot ahead of Webb Simpson.
The 26-year-old went bogey-free over the entire 72 holes in North Carolina, and secured the title with a final round score of 62 to finish the tournament on 22 under.
An Byeong-hun had lead the tournament throughout and held a one shot advantage heading into the final round, but the South Korean let the title slip through his hands as he picked up two late bogeys.
An, who also seeking his maiden PGA title, had not dropped a shot throughout the tournament until he reached the 15th, where he slipped to two strokes off the lead with a dropped shot.
He got the shot back with a birdie at the next, but with Poston in the clubhouse with a one shot lead, An needed to birdie the last to force a play-off. However he ended up picking up his second bogey to finish third and hand the title to Polston, with Simpson, who birdied four of the final five holes taking second.
