Fulham manager Marco Silva has said the London club will back Nigeria’s Super Eagles in the AFCON 2023 final against hosts Côte d’Ivoire on Sunday.
The Eagles and Côte d’Ivoire will meet for the second time at this year’s tournament.
In the group stage meeting, a William Troost-Ekong second half penalty earned Jose Peseiro’s men a 1-0 win.
Fulham’s Nigerian stars Alex Iwobi and Calvin Bassey, have been pivotal in the Eagles’ run to the final.
Both players are expected to be in action as Nigeria look to land a fourth continental title.
Speaking in Friday’s presser ahead of Fulham’s Premier League clash with Bournemouth today (Saturday) Silva admitted both players have been missed.
