Premier League: Onyeka Subbed On As Brentford Thrash Norwich To End Winless Run

Frank Onyeka was in action for Brentford who ended their winless with a 3-1 win away to Norwich City in Saturday’s Premier League.

Onyeka was introduced into the game on 59 minutes for Christian Norgaard.

Prior to Saturday’s game Brentford had gone on nine straight games without winning (eight defeats and one draw).

The win saw Brentford maintain 15th place on 27 points, six points away from the relegation zone.

At Turf Moor, Chelsea gave their top four hopes a massive boost with a convincing 4-0 win at Burnley.

The Blues remain in third spot on 53 points in the league standing after 26 games played.

And in other results Aston Villa hammered Southampton 4-0, Newcastle pipped Brighton 2-1 and Crystal Palace beat Wolves 2-0.

Onyeka dey try sha but Nigeria has options in midfield. Nice one for playing in the Premier League. With Amoo on board Super Eagles midfield can be creative but Onyeka has cool head. Heaven bless Onyeka and all deserving Super Eagles midfielders…

See as Aribo is busy scoring, that’s a good midfielder and not these ones running around pitch aimlessly. Is that I personally hate Onyenka but an Amoo who can dribble, distabilize opponents to score great goals is a welcome development and besides having confidence with the ball. I am sure the sentimentalists will come here making noise on why our Technical Adviser should field a non product against the Black Stars.

  • It looks like Watford is destined for relegation, but I think okoye will get suitors faster if Watford had stayed in the premier league, but them going to championship will benefit him because he will have a reliable defense and can increase his number of clean sheet for a club like Watford if okoye plays all their matches at the end if the season he should have 20 clean sheets because championship has more games and also Watford is a prem club and will be strong against the champ clubs. But I pray Watford fortunes should change and stay up then okoye should leave.
In my opinion I think okoye made a mistake for choosing Watford while other clubs like Southampton, nice and crystal palace wants to buy you, I for one would have preferred the Crystal palace move so that he can convince olise and eze but especially olise to join se and because crystal palace is a little bit stronger than Southampton defensively
