Pulisic Aims To Go Out On A High

Christian Pulisic is desperate to finish his time with Borussia Dortmund on a high and is targeting domestic and European glory.

The USA international has agreed a deal to sign for English Premier League side Chelsea at the end of the season and he wants to leave with some silverware.

One such opportunity has slipped by the wayside after BVB lost to Werder Bremen on penalties in the DFB-Pokal last-16 clash on Tuesday night, but Pulisic says they now have to focus on the bigger prize.

Dortmund sit top of the Bundesliga table and are also still in the Champions League heading into the latter stages, and Pulisic is keen to go out on a high. “We wanted to win the cup as well,” Pulisic said after Dortmund lost to Werder. “But now we have to focus on the league and Champions League. “I love being here. I’ve had a great time and I really want to finish strong.”
