FIFA will never sanction a game between men and women. You football suggestions are strange. You should visit relevant platforms to update your knowledge.

Meanwhile, The Super Chickens of Nigeria will be watching us on television.

I love this website. See what they wrote about our Black Stars. I quote: “The four-time AFCON winners are returning to the World Cup AFTER EDGING OUT NIGERIA to qualify”. I will post that quote on my wall. What a great achievement. I don’t care how we play at the world cup as far as we beat Nigeria and they will only be watching us from home.

    • “I don’t care how we play at the world cup as far as we beat Nigeria and they will only be watching us from home.”

My point exactly (which I made on another thread)!

Thanks Yeboah for this confirmatory quote. This will serve as a bitter lesson and a huge reminder to the NFF, our coaches and players (across gender) not to press the self-destruct button on and off the pitch (particularly against winnable teams like the ones we faced in world cup qualifiers and the one that recently condemned our women to Wafcon losers third place playoff).

When you recklessly sack a coach in the eve of major assignments and leave yourselves at the mercy of VAR following inexplicable tackles, fans are left picking up the pieces with ridicule from rival fans (who should have been put in their place easily).

With proper football management by the NFF and proper on-field conduct by our players, Nigeria should regularly put pretenders to the sword and with fans not having to contend with needless ridicule.

Thanks again Yeboah, please enjoy Qatar world cup at the expense of a country who excels at shooting itself in the foot!

      • Brian G 2 years ago

Who actually is the pretender? Because your best at the world cup was round of 16 and getting knocked out in the group stages. So my question who exactly is the pretender?

      • I think a pretender is a team that will go to town after snatching the world cup ticket solely because of away goals rule but aided by their opponents shambolic management of football.

        Well done Ghana!

For the records, Ghana had currently accumulated 4 wins and 3 draws at the Fifa World Cup while Nigeria amassed 6 wins and 3 draws.

Nigeria’s flag fluttered 6 times as against Ghana’s meagre 3 to date.

        The difference is clear.

  • …and that is why your country can never progress. Can you hear yourself. ”I don’t care how we play at the world cup as far as we beat Nigeria and they will only be watching us from home”….Hatred borne out of jealousy for Nigeria. Beating Nigeria is your Ghana’s greatest achievement.

      Lol. You are right.

    • Nana yaw 2 years ago

      Afcon Gh =4
      Nig= 3
      WC highest achievement Gh=Qf
      Nig=R16
      Africa highest wc goalscorer=Asamoah Gyan
So my friend tell me what Nigeria has achieved in men’s football that Ghana had not archive

      • Nana yaw 2 years ago

So please tell me reason why Ghana is jealous of Nigeria

    • Brian G 2 years ago

Who hasn’t progressed because I don’t understand some of you? Is it lack of adequate information or absent mindedness. The country that hasn’t made progress at the world cup is Nigeria.

      • Ghana did well to profit from Nigeria’s poor management in snatching the world cup ticket with the aid of an archaic away goals rule.

Have fun at the World Cup. You deserve it.

Things Nigeria has that Ghana has not achieved:
    1) Olympic soccer gold medal.
    2) Olympic soccer silver medal.
    3) 6 world cup qualifications compared to Ghana’s 4.
    4) 5 U-17 world cups.
    5) Ranked 5th IN THE WORLD in 1994, the highest FIFA rank achieved by ANY AFRICAN COUNTRY TO DATE.
    6) 9 AFCON titles won by the Super Falcons. Ghana women still waiting to win even tea cup.
    7) Nigeria women have attended far more world cups than Ghana women.
    8) Ghana has 4 Afcon titles. However, Nigeria has more Afcon medals combined than Ghana. If you add up all the golds, silvers and bronzes Nigeria has won at Afcon, Ghana is left far behind.
    9) Ghana holds the record of no trophy at senior level since 1982. Forty years have gone by since Ghana last won a senior trophy. Nigeria does not have these problem. Nigeria has been winning senior trophies much more consistently.
Ghana could easily have the record of qualifying for the world cup semi final, but they were halted by their BFF Luis Suarez and Uruguay. One of the most painful defeats ever suffered by an African team. El Pistolero and his good friend Edinson Cavani (El Matador) are looking forward to meeting Ghana again in Qatar, to continue applying more salt to injury.
The world cup is almost here. Somebody say WOTOWOTO! Hahahahaha!

    • @Yeboah and Nana Yaw…. Pompei has responded to you….. 7 days still counting, no response from you….Awon omo ale jatijati…..

    • Brian G 2 years ago

Maybe you have forgotten that the only trophy that ranked 2nd only to the FIFA senior World cup is the under 20 world, which they won in 2009.
Because you’re busy typing age grade competitions which we all know is prosecuted with 30yr old. You think if the under 17 is about winning trophies you will win it. Why haven’t you won the under 20 world cup since you’re very good at the Under 17? Behaving as if you know what you’re saying, when you don’t understand progression.
You’re busy misinforming people, who told you they haven’t won a medal in the Olympics?

      • Ghana and Nigeria have been accused and carpetted for age cheating, Ghana more recently in this year’s Under-17 men’s Chan and Under-17 Women’s World Cup qualifiers after Morocco complained.

The last person to criticise Nigeria for age cheating is a Ghanaian.

The Olympic games remain the most high profile sporting competition in the world. Though not a FIFA tournament, winning Olympic Gold medal in football retains its panache for any footballer. Ghana is yet to taste it.
