Legendary Argentina defender, Osvaldo Ardilles, believes that the Albiceleste will have the edge when they play champions France in the final of the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
Argentina and France will battle it out for World Cup glory at the Lusail Iconic Stadium on Sunday.
In an interview with talkSPORT, Ardilles, a member of the Argentina squad that won the World Cup in 1978, pinpointed the fragility of the French team.
“I have to say I have not been that impressed by France,” Ardilles said.
“I think that France have a much, much better team four years ago, they can play they can keep the ball. Four years ago they can play in a different style.

“Now they are all defending and they are using the are using the counter attack far too much even Griezman is becoming a kind of defensive midfielder. So I feel we would have the edge, France against England I would say England was the better team as well.”
Argentina beat Croatia 3-0 in the semi-final to qualify for a first World Cup final since 2014.
The Albiceleste are in search of a third FIFA World Cup trophy after emerging champions on home soil in 1978 and at the 1986 edition in Mexico.
