Quaner Joins Tractor Boys

Huddersfield striker Collin Quaner has joined Championship strugglers Ipswich Town on loan for the rest of the season.

The 27-year-old joined the Terriers in January 2017 and made 13 Premier League starts last season, but he has managed just two substitute appearances this time around.

Town boss David Wagner is happy to let him move on to get some first-team action under his belt, and the Tractor Boys have jumped in to sign him.

German Quaner also says he is “excited” to get going at Portman Road and hopes to be among the goals. “I’m looking forward to my time here,” he told the club’s website.

“This time of the season is always busy in football but it’s been a really busy couple of days for me and I’m glad the move is finalised and I can fully focus now.

“I will do my absolute best for the club and given the situation I think this is an opportunity for us as a team to do something great.”
