Real Madrid legend Sergio Ramos has saluted the capture of “world-class” Eden Hazard after Los Blancos finally completed a deal. Real have been chasing the Belgium international for some time, and the ‘will or won’t he’ situation was finally answered last week when he was snapped up in an £80million deal.

There have been suggestions that Ramos could be looking to leave the Bernabeu in search of a fresh challenge in China, but he will no doubt be keen to stay following the arrival of Hazard. “I think it’s a great signing. He is a world-class player. It is good to reinforce the squad,” Ramos told reporters.
The 28-year-old is unlikely to be the last arrival at Real this summer as boss Zinedine Zidane sets about rebuilding his squad following a very disappointing 2018/19 campaign. The arrival of Hazard is also likely to spell the end of Gareth Bale’s time at the club, with Manchester United linked with a deal to take him initially on loan with a view to buy.
