Scottish Premiership giants Rangers are in talks to sign Akpe Victory from Hungarian side Zalaegerszegi TE.
Victory has caught the eye with his impressive performances for Zalaegerszegi this season.
Benfica have also shown interest in the youngster but Rangers are believed to be leading the race and preparing a formal offer.
Several clubs across Germany, Spain and France are also said to be monitoring the defender’s situation closely, according to transfer expert, Ben Jacobs.

“Rangers in talks to buy Akpe Victory from Zalaegerszegi,” Jacobs wrote on X.
“19-years old Nigerian centre-back has been tracked by clubs in Germany, Spain and France.He has made 15 appearances this season scoring once.
“Benfica are the other club to have made an approach, but Rangers are understood to be close to making an offer.
Fee expected to be in excess of €5m.”
The defender played in Lithuania for FK Banga Gargždai before moving to Zalaegerszegi TE.
