Ranieri Eyeing Some Big Scalps

Claudio Ranieri has warned that his struggling Fulham side need to take the scalp of the Premier League’s big guns in coming games.

The Cottagers boss watched as his side crashed to a 2-0 defeat at Crystal Palace on Saturday which leaves them down in 19th-place and already seven points from safety.

The situation does not get any easier for the Londoners as in their coming seven Premier League fixtures, amid three away from home, sees Manchester United, Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester City all visit Craven Cottage.

After that intimidating run Fulham will have only six matches remaining, and Ranieri said: “All the big teams are coming to Craven Cottage, and maybe we can take some points from the big teams.

“We wanted points [at Palace]. It wasn’t possible, but maybe it’ll be possible against the big teams at home. “We have to be positive every time, until the end. I want the maximum in every training session. I want the maximum in every match. I’m positive.”
