Leicester City manager, Brendan Rodgers praised Kelechi Iheanacho after the forward produced another impressive display in the 1-0 defeat to Southampton on Saturday.
Iheanacho was in action for the entire duration of the game.
The Nigeria international came close to scoring twice at the St Mary’s Stadium.

The 26-year-old has scored two goals and provided three assists in his previous five league outings for the Foxes.
“He (Iheanacho) has been brilliant for us of late. He’s been the one who looks like the threat. He kept fighting and kept working. He had two really good headers but couldn’t make the finish,” Rodgers was quoted by Leicester Mercury.
“The opportunity on the edge of the box, we’ve seen him score those recently, where he guides it into the corner. At least he was there to miss it.”

This coach is a fool… Bench your best goalscorer almost a whole season until those he trust ahead of him can’t seem to save his ship anymore then all of a sudden, Iheanacho becomes the go-man again… Kelechi should just respect himself and leave to a club or league that will value him and raise his profile. See case of Lookman in Italy… this same coach will not even push for his board to sign Lookman.
Thumbs up brotherman Jimmy. Evil fans with evil intentions will always criticise the English Premier League but Iheanacho belongs in England. After this season, he should go to Newcastle or Aston Villa where they will use him more often.
Brendan Rodgers has failed. He is a poor man manager. Eddie Howe of Newcastle is far better than him. Iheanacho will play better under Eddie.
Heaven bless Iheanacho and all Deserving Super Eagles players based in England.
