Rodrigo believes Valencia are more than capable of overturning their first-leg deficit and eliminating Arsenal in the Europa League semi-finals. Los Che face an uphill battle in their quest to make it through to the final in Baku on May 29, after being beaten 3-1 by Arsenal in the first leg of the tie at the Emirates Stadium last week – with a 90th-minute strike from Gunners forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang making things all the more difficult.

Valencia have had an up and down season to date, particularly in La Liga where they spent much of the first half of the campaign in the bottom half of the table, but they are now battling it out with the likes of Getafe and Sevilla for a Champions League place.
Spain international Rodrigo certainly feels Valencia have shown their ability to bounce back on numerous occasions this term and is convinced they can overturn their Europa League deficit during Thursday’s second leg at the Mestalla. Rodrigo told VCF Media Radio: “This season we are a group that we have shown that we have the ability to overcome adverse situations, we are a team that always fight until the end, we have won games in the last minutes to see if it is on Thursday.”
