Rohr Has Quality Players At His Disposal To Turn Super Eagles To World Beaters – Sodje

Former Nigerian defender, Sam Sodje has urged Super Eagles coach, Gernot Rohr to utilize the quality of players at his disposal to turn the team into world-beaters.

Sodje made this call in an interview with a Lagos-based radio station, where he stated that the future of the team is bright with the array of stars in the senior national team.

The former Portsmouth star, who made his debut for Nigeria in a 3–0 friendly defeat to Romania in Bucharest in November 2005, called on Rohr to transform the Super Eagles into a title-winning team.

“We’ve got a bunch of players at the moment coming through and Nigeria as a nation should be proud and happy for the future. Coming to all these games I think we should be positive.

“On paper, we are the top side but we need to turn up and perform on the pitch. I hope Gernot Rohr understands that the players he has at the moment are top quality and unbelievable.”

  • Oga don hide finish…. E don finally comot come since him plan nor gree work….

After our back-to-back wins in afcon quailifiers and our well deserved up-rising in FIFa ranking they all went into hiding bcos they could find no fault in SE and the “Mechanic”….

It seems everything is calm, they want to come and shed crocodile tears of “i love SE” as if they love really love SE in any way….

The real EX that are unbias, sincere, lovers of progress and success and have pure love and passion for their fatherland and the SE players came out in numbers pouring encomium on the boys and urging them to do more “immediately” the team saw success….

But this one and his likes went into hiding bcos of shame….

His likes will soon join him…

His next post will be pure criticism…
    Mark my word…

Why do you attack every one who raises an issue against Rohr. The truth is bitter if the super eagles is handled by our Nigerian coaches because I refuse to use that derogatory term “local coaches” to describe our ex internationals who have all the necessary qualifications and experience to handle the super eagles and pay them the same salary that Rohr is paid. You will know that Rohr is just riding on the avalanche of talents in this country. Rohr is not good enough for Nigeria. Let us stop celebrating this white mentality and start believing in our own. Example is the case of Kelechi Iheanacho in his club and Verdy now that the seniorman is given playing times with the assurance that he is not to be substituted at half time do we still say that as long as Verdy is still playing that Kelechi will never get a starter shirt

  • @UBFE what is your own sef???? always attacking Ex International players when they say something against Rohr even if they are praising him. Who are you SEF?? What have you contributed towards super eagles besides being just a Fan. you are not important at all. Nobody knows you. Sam Sodje on the other hand has contributed to SE and has more rights to the team than you. I Know that when our Current SE players retire and become critical fans as they are Nigerians, I know you will also insult them when they give their opinions, even your Current GOD MUSA I KNOW YOU WILL CRITISIE HIM TOO IN THE FUTURE… Fucking plastic fan you are!!!

If Rhor put the right tactics and good organization and play with depth from the defensive side to attacting side,he will win Afco Cub in Cameroon for example if he plays versus Morocco he must put plan of 3-5-2 the line-up as follows :-Okoye-Aina,Balogun,Sanusi-Ndidi,Shehu,Aribo,Iwobi,Iheanchu-Osimhen,Onauchu.If he play versus Malawi or Mauritania or Zimbabe he must put plan of 4-2-3-1 the line-up as follows:-Okoye-Aina,Balogun,william Troost,Sanusi-Ndidi,Aribo-Ahmed Musa,Iwobi,Iheanchu-Osimhen.If he plays teams like Comoros, Liberia,Central Africa he must put plan of 4-3-3 or 4-2-3-1,the best is on the flume or stream of the match. So the plan of playing depending on the strength of the rival,if the rival is strong he must play with pressing, orgnized football playing with tightly on defensive midfield and closing the back line from counter attacts or set-pieces, playing with high crossing balls to head of Onauchu or snatching or clinching set-pieces committed from the rival then scoring easy goals.Good concepts and putting the right decision with taking advising from assistants on the plan, tactics or chinging the players through the flume of the match.I say Rhor goes on the right road to reach the glory with Super Eagles.
