A spokesperson for Cristiano Ronaldo’s Pestana CR7 hotel in Lisbon has denied it has been turned into a makeshift coronavirus hospital.
A report in Spanish outlet Marca stated that the Pestana CR7 hotel have been transformed into an infirmary for people affected by the deadly disease.
Portugal currently has 169 confirmed cases but no one has died.
But the hotel quashed the rumours reported by Spanish outlet Marca.
And denying the report, the spokesperson told Dutch outlet RTL Nieuws: “We are a hotel.
“We are not going to be a hospital.
“It is a day like everyone else, we are and will remain a hotel.
“We are being phoned by the press. I wish you a nice day.”
Meanwhile, Ronaldo is currently self-quarantined in Madeira where he was born.
He was found to be clear of coronavirus on Friday.
And he took to Instagram on Saturday with a message of solidarity for the world.
It read: “The world is going through a very difficult moment which demands the utmost care and attention from all of us.
“I speak to you today not as a football player, but as a son, father, a human being concerned with the latest developments that is affecting the whole world.
“It is important we all follow the advice of WHO (World Health Organization) and the governing bodies on how we handle this current situation.
“Protecting human life must come above any other interests.
“I would like to send my thoughts to everyone who has lost someone close to them, my solidarity to those who are fighting the virus, like my team-mate Daniele Rugani, and my continued support to the amazing health professionals putting their own lives at risk to save others.”Fastest Paying Betting Site in Nigeria: Grab your 140% First Time Deposit Bonus Now — www.Sportybet.Com Copyright © 2021 Completesports.com All rights reserved.
