Coach Rohr what can you say about Chukwueze vs Simon today I am not saying Simon is bad but Chukwueze is a lite! A good coach can’t drop this lad for a bit I’m weeping atm!

    • Walking 5 years ago

I seem not to understand yet the reason he dropped that lad…

    • Are you saying that chukwueze is better than Moses simeon? Even if he is better the latter is more experienced than him and can play as wing back which is our second formation . Besides they are not playing the same position.

      • Chima E Samuels 5 years ago

Yes seen this news on owngoal but we never got a confirmation of this agreements between the two coaches. Sometimes owngoal will give false and sometimes real news but most of their news just like allNigeria soccer news of which I give a little credit to for their updates on Nigeria players abroad are mostly based on assumptions they don’t get a direct source to the coaches or players like complete sports do. But I hope Rohr never drops this guy from the afcon else ground will open!

          https://owngoalnigeria.com/2019/03/07/exclusive-list-of-foreign-based-players-contacted-by-coach-of-nigeria-u23-imama-amapakabo/
          .
I’m sure they wouldn’t write this exclusively if it weren’t truly exclusive.

        • Chima E Samuels 5 years ago

Seen this as well i will rather we wait for an official list because if you read this well its not official and we are yet to see here in Complete sports any tangible real news about the U23 except some list of virtually unknown players that was released last two weeks or so. Owngoal once gave a news about inclusion of musa Muhammed but in the end it was based on assumption which never materialised. Since then i only read their news for entertainment and not taking them alongside allnigeria soccer news seriously

“There is a state of mind and a group that has won almost all their games since the 2018 World Cup. There was no reason to change. Except for those who will play for the under 23 who play at the same time an important match. We have the ambition to retain the lead of Group E with a win,” he added. – G. Rohr speaking.
            .
Kindly underline the sentence….There was no reason to change. Except for those who will play for the under 23 who play at the same time an important match…
            .
Which means ‘some members’ of the SE were penciled down to feature for the U23s for an important match at about the same time the SE will play.

Great for this guys the debate goes on.

Gernot rohr was just bias by not including chukwueze on that list, not that he lost form he just didn’t fit into villareal’s new 3-5-2 formation, that was why he lost his starting spot

  • Greenturf 5 years ago

    Interesting performances from our boys.
Meanwhile, the duo of Awaziem and Azubuike Okechukwu have brought with them this winning vibes that eluded this Rizespor team prior to them joining the team in the winter windows.
I have clamoured particularly for the invitation of Zubby so much that I’m exhausted because obviously I was talking to the wall.Apparently, anytime he’s invited I don’t see anyone stopping him from taking his rightful place in the first team of the super eagles. His exclusion is a big mistake that needs attention, someone needs to whisper in the ears of the gaffer who has obviously turned a blind eyes to this gifted maestro.
Kudos to Awoniyi.Keep on scoring lad and it’s just a matter of time before you get your well deserved chance.

    • Glory. 5 years ago

On Azubuike, you re spot on. Rohr is beginning to baffle me with his invitation of players. Azubuike is a top quality player n it surprises me Rohr is ignoring him.

Siaone willl never snub zubby only a good coachie knows a good player

  • Oakfield 5 years ago

Indeed, so your siaone is a good coach and Better than Rohr? Can we stop celebrating mediocrity in this country for once! Your siaone is yet to get a job in Africa let alone in Nigeria. If he was that good, why is he still jobless? The coach can’t invite every player at the same time. Nigeria has a lot of talented players scattered within and abroad and the lucky get a chance to wear the national colours while the rest wait for their time.

Oakville, Sampson Siasia won bronze and silver at the Olympics and won silver at the junior u20 world cup. Rohr has never won a feeding bottle in his career. Pay Siasia 47k Euro with the incentive rohr is getting he will perform. Let us stop this inferiority complex about a white man.

      • Dr. Drey 5 years ago

“Rohr has never won a feeding bottle in his career”
        Fat lie. Big fat lie.

      • Edoman of NewJersey,USA 5 years ago

Siasia who ????????. Get a life.

    • Chima E Samuels 5 years ago

I will not argue this but do you think Rohr with all those shady NFF pre Olympic arrange will come 7th in the Olympic pls answer!

      • Dr. Drey 5 years ago

Rohr will win the olympics with 33 year olds masqurading as u23. Now let me ask my own question, Do you think ur beloved siasia will win league medal, UEFA cup silver medal and the Swiss FA cup medal…? Why hasnt he also been able to win anything in the same rag tag Nigerian league where the likes of Eguavoen (of all people – no disrespect), imama amakpakabo, kenedy boboye (who has taken 3 different clubs to top 4 placing in the last 4 years) and fidelis ilechukwu have distinguished themselves. Lastly, why is ur sia1 still jobless running to 3 years if he’s so awesome

  • Aquilani 5 years ago

@ Kamalu, beautiful records by Siaone.. However he won those wares with youth teams which are quite different from the Super Eagles. Lest we forget, he did no such ‘winnings’ when saddled with the Super Eagles job. Free Rohr & let him do his job.

    • Dr. Drey 5 years ago

Leave them. Every senior team he has handled ended in failure. Even eguavoen (no disrespect to him) won something both at club and national team level and is currently coaching somewhere in europe. Some people coached 3 nigerian league teams, relegated 2 and crashed out of the Caf CL group stage bottom of the group with the same team that was runner up the previous year and have been jobless since not qualifying the SE for AFCON. Let him be parading his youth team medals up and down, i’m yet to see how youth team succeses improves fifa rankings. lolz.

Our coach is spoiled for choice. Awoniyi is not letting up amd Chukwueze os back at his best. Hopefully, the coach will look their way soon.

And who is this blessing Eleke? No one is
talking about him but he seems to be on fire for his club…

  • Adisboy 5 years ago

Guys calm down. Chukwueze will be at the AFCON.He just needs to help the U23 defeat Libya, which is more important. Remember that the U23 coach is Rhor’s assistant.
