Sadiq Subbed On In Sociedad’s 2-1 Defeat At Real Madrid

Umar Sadiq was in action for Real Sociedad who lost 2-1 to Real Madrid in LaLiga at the Santiago Bernabeu on Sunday.

Sadiq was introduced into the game with nine minutes left but could not help Sociedad fall to defeat.

The Super Eagles striker is yet to open his goals account this season after five games.

Sociedad took a shock lead just five minutes into the game thanks to Ander Barrenetxea.

Federico Valverde equalized for Madrid in the 46th minute before Joselu bagged the winner on 60 minutes.

The win saw Madrid, now on 15 points, usurp champions Barcelona at the top while are 11th on six points.

Sadiq was sidelined for 11 months last season following a serious injury.
