  • Good talk boy now I understand that this boy is intelligent with good advisers, but me my self will advise you to choose Nigeria,

  • Chose Nigeria and join up with ur your age mate in super eagles

  • He shows he is smarter than his age, we need to sometimes realize that this soccer players with dual nationalty use to have good bond with there other nation, so it make it kinda difficult decision, but take it or leave it son, Nigeria represent the best for you, as you are 100% nija and we want you.

  • I think this boy is very intelligent and humble as well.NFF will need to go through His parent if they truly want Him to play for Nigeria.

  • Bukayo Saka:60%-Nigeria-International-Loading …

    “It’s a tough choice,”Saka told Sky Sports.

“I’m happy to have represented England at youth level but i’m also proud of my Nigerian heritage from my parents.

“We haven’t been picked by any team so it’s about staying humble and when the time comes we will make the decision.”

I’m very happy he said his proud of his heritage, that means his willing to represent..
But, he also said his not been picked by any team,
That means, his waiting for a call up from both team…. Hmmmmm, i smells first come first serve

  • “The future for England appears bright with Europe’s top clubs and their current managers putting faith in the teenage sensations.

“Greenwood and Bellingham have so much quality. Whether they are 18 or 28 or 38 they’ve got quality and when you’ve got quality you’re going to be in the team, providing you can apply the right attitude,” Saka said.”
These were Saka’s quotes on Sky Sport which shows He’s already giving them other options when he finally turn down their approach.
This guy is 70% sure an Eagle

  • Victor Noah 4 years ago

With the way things are going, I’m 100% SURE that SAKA will choose to represent Naija over England.

  • Omo9ja 4 years ago

Choosing Nigeria over England is the best option for you if you know because you will be playing regularly at the national team of Nigeria, you will go to Afcon and world cup easily but if you choose England, they will use and dump you in the end and world cup is not guaranteed including European nations cup.

Ask from Fashanu and co, they will tell you the reality of life.

So my dear Saka, don’t play politics game here deep down inside you, you know what you are going to do. So therefore, the choice is yours. Ire o. God bless Nigeria!!!

    • @Omo9ha, are you sure Rohr won’t bench him? Just like he benched Onyekuru and Osimhem at the nations cup and iwobi at the world cup 2 years ago?…Lol
Surprised you didn’t mention Rohr at all this tume

    • Thank God, Omo9ja didn’t say he was the one who discovered Bukayo Saka.

  • Chima E Samuels 4 years ago

“We haven’t been picked by anybody” NFF pick him now so you’ll leave the pressure for him to choose. Else don’t blame him if England picks him first. And then you’ll start hearing England showed interest at first!

Saka doesn’t need any trial to tell that we need him as an utility player.

  • Chairmanfemi 4 years ago

Saka. Well cultured, mannered and intelligent boy. He speaks with more sense than Mr. Basketmouth Tammy Abraham.

“We haven’t been picked by any team so it’s about staying humble and when the time comes we will make the decision”…NFF and Coach Rohr should please not waste time. If England invites him before we do, we might just lost this talent. I think it was Rumoured sometime in March that He was invited alongside Eze to watch the Sierra Leone match. I pray that is true. If not, they shouldn’t waste time please.

This particular news is on SkySports Social Media handles and majority including the English are advising him(Saka) to choose Nigeria saying he’s guaranteed more play time and International Trophies with Nigeria than England

  • Saka will play for Nigeria. I know that for sure. The guy respects his parents decision. He is just waiting for the right time.

    • Chima E Samuels 4 years ago

Did he tell you? Let England invite him first story go change.

  • Bukayo Saka should learn from others. Nigeria might not be better than England both in performance and incentives, but he will be more assured of first-team opportunities and regular international football.

  • Kingston 4 years ago

He ones told me he will love to play for Nigeria.

  • Ako Amadi 4 years ago

But England have not told Saka they want him as yet. It’s only Nigeria that has shown interest. So he does not have a tough decision to make

  • Saka come make I tell you , no dey make shakara , if you like England go if you like Nigeria come , make your decision now

      Possible Super eagles 2021 formation

      Saka osihmen chukwueze

      Aribo iwobi

      Ndidi

      Sanusi balogun ekong aina

      Uzoho.

      Subs
Musa, kalu, desser, iheanacho, etebo, ejiara, j collins, omeruo, ejuke, ajayi, ehizibue, okoye, akpeyi,.

Rohr can win world cup bronze with this team if fully fit, God bless Naija

      • Sunny 4 years ago

Very correct, except I would substitute Balogun for Ajayi. Ajayi is now first choice along Ekong. His case is even reinforced by his promotion to the EPL.

        • Ayphillydegreat 4 years ago

I agree with you Sunny. Is that SunnyB? Ajayi is now first choice along with Ekong. The fact he will be playing in the EPL next season makes him a shoe in for the Center half position. We do need Balogun’s experience though if he can stay fit. Overall, I like Collins Id list with a possible return of Alampasu. Though you have 24 players and you have no place for Awaziem. Some will make it while some big names may miss out fingers crossed. This team is looking like the SuperEagles we’ve been waiting for in a long time. The next season will be really crucial. #FLY LIKE AN EAGLE INTO THE FUTURE# SuperEagles gradually returning to the glory days.

          • Sunny 4 years ago

Nah, this is Sunny. I am not SunnyB. I have always read your posts right from when you were on kickoffnigeria. I know you once lived in Philly. I actually work in Philly but live in CherryHill, NJ.

          • Ayphillydegreat 4 years ago

Yeah Sunny. I remember you from the days of KON. I currently work in Texas now, but my house and family are still in Philly.  I come down there quite often.

      • Aleks 4 years ago

@Colins Id, Fantastic line-up, both for the first eleven and the bench. I’ll probably only recommend one change here – I’ll probably drop Jamilu Colins since Ola Aina can play left fullback or wingback as well if need be. In his place I’ll bring in Moses Simon. It’s difficult to drop a player like Simon who brings in solidity when the team needs to strengthen its defensive game without necessarily taking off the lever on attack. Also his ability to play anyway across the forward line and in the midfield is a big plus for the team. On the other hand, depending on how 2021 turns out, I do not think Musa’s place in the team is still solid considering his present struggles in the Saudi league. So, Musa’s place could be taken by Moses Simon while Colins remains in the list. Overall, I can say it would be a great headache for the coach to make the right decision regarding these three players.

        • Aleks 4 years ago

Additionally, Saka can slot in as an emergency left fullback/wingback, while Moses Simon can equally do the same for both right and left. Then it becomes difficult to keep Colins if the first slot of left fullback is already taken by Zaidu Sanusi.

      • Dr. Drey 4 years ago

Are you kidding me…??? You didnt include k.Nwakali “..who is better than all our Midfielders including Mikel..” and Musa ‘DaniAlves” Mohammed in your squad.

Some people are still waiting 2 years for Nwakali while 24yr old Aribo is dazzling week-in-week-out and he has not even reached his peak yet.

        • Collins id 4 years ago

Ejiara already brings in what i longly expected from kele nwakali, skills and key passes both long and short, couple with the ability to dictate with the ball these are kele usual artitude but ejiara posseses all, ehizibue replaces musa muhamed, meanwhile i still prefer musa to abdulahi and awaziem. @ sunny, i think ahmed musa, saka, aina, can make up for moses simon, i have seen enough of simon and to be honest i dont like his game at all, i like his personality but as for supereagles i dont have hope when ever he is playing, rohr might drop ejuke for him that is very posible, depending on form too. I agree the team doesnt realy need collins but as u can see i listed 24 players definatly one we go as a reserve player and that might be collins. Lastly if eze joins the team he may displace eigther kalu, musa, or iheanacho, depending on form. Etebo place his also treatened by Azubuike, yes azu can displace etebo if he plays nest season champions league couple with good performance in the league he will definately discharge etebo. I am not coach rohr anyway i am just having fun.

      • JimmyBall 4 years ago

@Collins id… International football is different from soft club football. Where did you keep Peter Olayinka or Simeon Nwankwo in your team? You guys are just drawing players list without thought! Forget that Saka seems to be playing well in EPL… He needs further maturity in physique and toughness for another two years to be able to play and hold his own against teams like Cameroon, Senegal, Tunisia, Algeria and Cote d’voire… likewise Aribo who clearly struggled against Benin Republic… Did you remember what Madagascar played us in Nations Cup that Rohr was looking so confused such that it appears he had aged by over ten years? I can bet you the likes of Ejaria and Eze will need a lot of adapting still to do in African Football… Have you not heard players like sallah, mane, Eto’o and Drogba confessing that Nations Cup is harder than World Cup? Physicality and contact is allowed to some extent in African Nations Cup unlike world cup and largely European football… So take note!

        • Collins id 4 years ago

@jimmy, if na by like dat, why do african teams lose to the europeans and south americans in big stages? How old was victor moses when he won 2013 afcon? Iwobi in is first competitive game along side with young iheanacho tecknicaly distroyed zambia in zambia. Wat matters is the technical understanding in the team. A high level team play colaborated with skills, dribbling and spead, will distroy anyteam nomatter their grabist. So you actually think championship and premierleague is soft? U for ask former nations cup winners like(ideye, musa, and emenike, say how far for premier league.

  • Edoman 4 years ago

NNF should sooner have a meaningful contact with the parents of this talented player now. He is 18, still a kid. He is indirectly asking for it. Please, for God sake, go for him today and not tomorrow.

@Ayphillydegreat, my guy I Dey here my brother, enjoying the west coast weather, but staying indoor because of this crazy pandemic. Balogun remains our numero uno for now, Ajayi is good no doubt, but Balogun is our best defender for now. I’m really enjoying the moment I think this super Eagles might be the best Eagles since 1980. The only minus for us for now is our goalkeeping department. Stay bless guys let’s continue to practice social distancing, coronavirus is real guys.

    • Ayphillydegreat 4 years ago

Good to hear from you again Sunnyb. It’s really a fantastic time for Nigerians to fall in love with the SuperEagles again. All thanks to the great work put together by the gaffer. SuperEagles truly on the ascendancy.

    • Naija Mazi 4 years ago

I hope Rohr does not listen to you about Balogun being our best defender. Are you kidding me? Dude could not hold a place in a relegated team and he is the best defender for a nation of 200 million football crazy country? Please don’t start. I beg you!

      • FrankL 4 years ago

You funny,Wigan started winning games as soon as balogun debuted. He was Paramount to their late good form and was a key player throughout except when injured. They got relegated because of a 12 point deduction due to administrative issues.wigan barely lost any of their games since balogun joined, infact they might make premier league if only that period counted.BALOGUN is by far better than most of them.

      • greenturf 4 years ago

@Naija Mazi, time will tell if Sunnyb is right.A player not having playing time could be for various factors other than their technical abilities.

Some players style may not go down well with a particular coach but amazing to another, sometimes could be a non sporting matter or loss of form.

However,Balogun is on the ascendancy since moving to Wigan with great performances. Now he’s with Scottish Rangers, basically an improvement from Wigan so it’s rather a matter of wait and see what happens.

Apparently, the only player who seems shoulder high above the rest in the jostle for the central defence pairings is Troost Ekong.Yet he has to keep playing and improving to keep his place or justify his selection.

However, the coach favours Ajayi/Troost for now but that could alter if the aforementioned players take their foots off the pedal.

So in other words,Balogun,Ajayi,Troost,Omeruo and Awaziem are first team players club form and formation could determine who plays and who doesn’t in every game.

Hmm. I love this conversation that is going on about the players of the Super Eagles.

Hmm. I have been saying this almost every year on this platform since the current
coaches of the Super Eagles started working with the team.

Super Eagles is bigger than the managers in charge of the team and the managers will continue having fantastic players but they needed someone as an expert to help the managers when selecting players and goalies for the Super Eagles and the tactics that will suits the pattern of the Eagles as a team.

I perfectly understand your situations and concerns about the players the gaffer is having this time around but we never short of quality players since day one of the Green Eagles till today and you guys should go back to when the coaches started working with the team hmm. Something is missing and are you guys not seeing what I’m seeing?

What happens to the team that went to the world cup? Inexperienced or tactics of the coaches? Excuses.

Afcon was another tournament. We had players that were able to win that tournament or at least carried the second place, what happened? Inexperienced of both the players and the coaches or tactics of the coaches of the Super Eagles?

Instead of NFF to find someone capable to assist coach Rohr from ex players but they went for Yobo that should have bn the no3 of the coaches.

We have Enyeama and Ikeme that are capable of bn the goalkeeper trainers but NFF are playing political games in Nigerian football.

Instead of fighting each others on this forum, let’s face the reality of the issues one by one.

Coach Rohr is untouchable while NFF are the main problem of the entire situations.

I omo9ja will keep telling Oga Rohr and NFF the truth of the matter.

Long story short, having good players like this shouldn’t be a topic but the Technical deficiencies of the coaches of the Eagles, Coach Rohr and coach Agu needs to be strengthen for these players to be functioning really well.

Am I communicating ba? If yes, good to hear that.

Fellow Nigerians, these players you are mentioning cannot do anything because NFF are dictators of the team. They are the ones selecting players for the coaches of the Super Eagles.

If you don’t believe, we had Akpeyi in goal post in Egypt upon unimpressive performances under the manager, still he mannedthe post while we had young goalkeepers on the bench?

Something with some of the players in the team presently.

    Problem no1 is the NFF.

Problem no2 is the deficiencies of the coaches of the Super Eagles.

Problem no3 are the fans of the Super Eagles. We have one fan but decided into two.

I think these are the areas Nigerians have to improve on. Ire o. God bless Nigeria!!!

    • Omo9ja 4 years ago

Samething with some of the players in the team presently. Some of them shouldn’t have bn there. I don’t want to point fingers.

      Problem no1 is the NFF.

Problem no2 is the technical deficiencies of the coaches of the Super Eagles.

Problem no3 are the fans of the Super Eagles. We have big fans of the Super Eagles all over the world but divided into two.

I think these are the areas Nigerians have to improve on. Ire o. God bless Nigeria!!!

  • Sunnyb 4 years ago

You are right my brother.Eagles will eventually touch the sky if Rohr is allowed to do his job, for me I’m really enjoying the competitiveness, I said it before all the pretenders would be phased out the really ballers will stake their claims  to those beautiful eagles jerseys. Mr Mazi you can tell us our most technical defender for now since Balogun is not in ur list.
