England winger Bukayo Saka has defeated the trio of Martin Odegaard, Leandro Trossard and William Saliba to claim Arsenal player of the month award for September.
The 22 year old played a major part as the Gunners picked up 10 points from a possible 12 in the Premier League during the period under review.
He was also a key factor as the London based team beat PSV Eindhoven in the UEFA Champions League.
Saka scored and made an assist in all of Arsenal’s five games over the course of the month.

He scored three goals and provided three assists in the month of September.
According to arsenal.com, Saka garnered 36 percent of the votes. He beat Martin Odegaard, Leandro Trossard and William Saliba to win the award.
The youngster created 13 chances, had six shots on target and made 145 key passes. He also recovered possession 27 times and made seven tackles.
Saka has won the Arsenal player of the month award on six occasions. The last time he won it was in December 2022.
Saka was born in England to Nigerian parents. He could have played for the Super Eagles of Nigeria due to his parentage but he opted to play for England.
He has a total of five goals and five assists in 10 games across all competitions this season.
Arsenal was founded in October 1886, they joined the Football League in 1893 and they reached the first division in 1904.
They are currently second in the Premier League standings with 20 points after eight matches.
