Sancho Wants Saka To Commit To England

Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho hopes Arsenal youngster Bukayo Saka will commit to England.

Saka is eligible to play for Nigeria and is considering his options.

But while Sancho was disappointed the Euros were called off, he believes the options coach Gareth Southgate now has will spark a battle for places.

“Nah I was gutted. Obviously I’ve been doing my thing this season and I was ready to go,” Sancho told SoccerBible.

“I don’t mind it being pushed back though. I feel like the England squad has a lot of players who are interesting at the moment. It’s going to be interesting to see who makes the squad.

“The players we have now are great and the young players that are coming up now like Bukayo Saka, Mason Greenwood – these guys are talented. It’s interesting to see what they’re doing week in, week out.

“They’re doing a madness so it’s going to be a very tough decision for Gareth Southgate to make.

“Again it’s healthy competition and you’ve just got to do your thing and everyone is going to be doing their best. It’s exciting to see.”

“Sweet songs” by the devil. Don’t waste your time with a clairvoyant. Learn from the sorrows of T &T. Be smart and preemptive.

He is worth fighting for. England will eventually dump him after one or two games.

  • He is Worth Fighting for and will make the England Squad if we don’t Get him. all of you saying England will dump him, clearly know nothing about football. besides Nigeria should be able to differentiate what players to fight for and ones they shouldn’t so we avoid mediocre players turning us down and then so making absurd conclusions that players are not worth fighting for because you are fighting for every tom, dick and Harry. Let us fight for guys like SAKA for god’s sake he is a special Player period!.

@collins id all the players you have mentioned. with the exception of Kalu and Onyekuru. are not on the same level as Saka. even with onyekuru and Kalu. getting the services of Saka for the Super Eagles should be of High priority. not only would it help in improving profile as a team to be feared in World football regardless the opponent. the name Super Eagles would command respect when you know you are up against the likes of Osimhen, Saka, Chukwueze, Ndidi, Iheanacho, Aribo,Eberechi Eze, Nwakali to name a few come on just imagine the potential damage a team with key players like this would cause..

comparing Kalu and Onyekwuru with Saka ? I don’t get it, Even, Simon is far better than these two players. Simon, Kalu, and Onyekwuru play in the same league and Simon is on a different level.
The only player close to Saka in SE is Samu. Simon has a better decision making in terms of assist, defending and scoring than Samu.
SE with Samu on the right, Saka on the left and Osimhen at the center will be interesting…
We need to stop overhyping Kalu and Onyekwuru, these two players need to take their games to the next level like Simon..

  • @Oakfield once again i will say thank god you are nowhere close to any form of sports management/advisory in this country and our beloved Super Eagles. we would probably be seeing the likes of Uchebo, Babatunde and co downing the Super Eagles Jersy again.

U personally can carry ur entire family including your village people to go licking his ass begging him to accept us. Whether he accepts or not changes nothing like I said. We’ve been good without him and we’ll continue being good with or without him.

        • I personally prefer being “Great” again and “Feared” again to being just plain boring good. Sorry bros once again I disagree with you.

Not to worry My village people and I will go and beg him then once he agree’s you and your Village ingrates will thank me later.

I really want this boy called Saka to don the super eagles Jersey sooner than expected… Saka is a special breed kind of player. I will not lie to you guys, saka is worth begging for to come play for Nigeria. Of all the wingers we have in the super eagles presently, individual saka is far better when placed side by side…in fact, I want saka more than eze because we already have like-to-like deputy for eze in the names of ejaria and onomah but not really the case in the question regarding that of saka at least for now. I am very sure that saka really wants to play for Nigeria but his parent ain’t ready for him to commit to us just now because they are being scared of his career as he hasn’t really stamped his authority in the arsenal team. But the issue is that as his parents keep delaying his file for a switch of allegiance, England national team may decide to call him and he along with his parents WILL NOT reject the call should eventuality turns out. So, looking at it hostically in saka’s case, Nigeria is the 2nd option except unexpected happens. May God touches their heart in Nigerian’s favour sooner than later.
