Bordeaux continues to be without midfielder Younousse Sankhare as he has reportedly suffered complications from beard implants.
The 29-year-old Senegal international, who is a key man for Les Girondins, went for treatment at a private facility to improve his facial hair.
However, local news reports have claimed that Sankhare has been suffering with a fever following the procedure and is currently absent from the first-team squad.
He has already missed three Ligue 1 fixtures and is unlikely to feature in Tuesday’s home clash against Montpellier.
Meanwhile, the club is continuing to search for a new manager to replace Ricardo Gomes following his sacking last week after a run of just one win in seven matches.
