It is called morale booster and they will also be there to join to sing our National Anthem before each match. In 2019 edition, it was the Senate president, Mohamed Lawan that led the delegation to Egypt. Others were HoR speaker, Govs. Okowa and Sanwolu, CBN Governor etc. Other countries also send delegation to psych up their team.

Imagine this how they are going to waste taxpayers money y all this delegation what are they going there to do?this country is so corrupt and shameless people are starving, suffering and the federal government is sending a delegation chaii I weep for this country aside the sports minister anybody that wants to go should sponsor he’s or her trip

21 govt officials + 9 “technical” wise men + Another 9 Non technical members of the SE management crew + The entire NFF board and committees.

But they didnt have money to pay bonuses since the group stages of 2019 AFCON and it never bothered them.

The next thing we will hear is that our players are washing their jerseys or boots themselves in their hotel rooms after use earlier in the day.

I hope they all find what they are all going to look for in Cameroon.

I didn’t know this kind of thing still happen in Nigeria. Aside the financial burden on Nigeria sponsoring these so-called big men and women, I can’t imagine the fact that they will leave their public offices and duty posts which is their primary responsibility and attend a football competition just because Nigeria is participating. Even the CBN Governor and the Finance Minister who are supposed to be busy trying to reduce inflation and strengthen the Naira are in the party. It’s a shame for us as a nation. The only gov’t personality who needs to there is the Sports Minister because that is his primary constituency. SMH.
