Juventus manager Maurizio Sarri says he does not know if the club are planning to make a move for Paul Pogba this summer. The Frenchman is being linked with a big-money return to Juventus, while Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain are also said to be interested.
Pogba has already revealed he is ready for a “new challenge” but the 26-year-old has already played for Juventus in the past. He enjoyed four successful years in the Serie A between 2012 and 2016 but Sarri admits he is a big fan.
Despite his admiration, the Italian claims sporting director Fabio Paratici has yet to make any contact. He told reporters: “I like very much the player but I don’t know the situation. I am not the technical director.”
Red Devils coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer said this week he intends to build his starting XI around Pogba but all signs suggest he will leave Old Trafford before the end of August.
