Saudi Club Al Shabab Interested In Ndidi

Saudi Arabia Professional League side, Al Shabab are in talks with Wilfred Ndidi over a summer move.

According to Egyptian journalist, Ahmed Regab, the Lion are keen on luring the Nigeria international from Leicester City.

Ndidi could leave Leicester City this summer following the Foxes relegation from the Premier League.

The midfileder may not fancy a move to Saudi Arabia at this stage of his career, but may be tempted by a lucrative offer from Al Shabab.

Al Shabab, who once had former Super Eagles forward, Odion Ighalo in their books have won the Saudi League six times.

The White Lion won the their last title in 2012.

Vicente Moreno’s side finished in fourth position last season.

  • “The midfileder may not fancy a move to Saudi Arabia at this stage of his career, but may be tempted by a lucrative offer from Al Shabab.”

Why will he not fancy it? So playing at second division at this stage of His career and age is worth fancy?

Ndidi if no better club comes for you in europe,I would suggest you go to Saudi rather than playing with Leicester in championship.

OMO WHITE MEN dey see pass us o…I remembered when some BUBBLE GUM BRAINS here were calling NDIDI a WORLD CLASS.

    SMH…

  • Once Ndidi goes down to Saudi I would suggest SE promote some of the many talented Midfielders cropping up this period…… Of recent Nigeria is witnessing Some avalanche of talented Midfielders been recognized by European elite clubs and we should not make the Ighalo and Musa mistake by blocking their progress inorder to appease Ndidi …….Daga Has signed a pre contract with AC Milan……Eletu is already at AC Milan…… Akinsanmiro is already in Inter Milan’s first team……. Onyedika is Established at club Brugge…… Alhassan yusuf is the most talked about Midfielder in Belgium and a current Belgian champion…… Olakunle Olusegun is going to Lens this summer and he will grace the champions league next season……. Many more are on their way up and we will soon witness an over flow in the Midfield department like the striking department and we should be open minded this time because the Midfield department determines a team who is ready to win any trophy.

    • You ruined your fine piece with Daga claims. That 16 years old is not one for the future if you asked me. As for his precontract with AC Milan, 2 years is not far to see if he would still be worth the candy. At the current rate, I see another Stanley Okoro of 2007 fame to soon be played. He is in his prime NOW

Football can be funny. Ndidi going to Saudi Arabia may breathe new life into his game.
Recall Belgium’s Axel Witsel. From Zenit Saint Petersburg, the midfielder moved to a Chinese club Tianjin Quanjian in 2017. That would seem a ridiculous move to many, but Witsel remained in good form, so much so that coach Martinez continued to view him as almost indispensable in the Belgian squad. In 2018, he moved out of China to Borussia Dortmund, and now he’s with Atletico Madrid.
Let’s hope Ndidi rediscovers his form. I do agree though that several of the new midfield talents popping up should be given a chance to stake their claim in the SE squad.

    • Saudi is supposed to be at retirement. Not for a 26 Years old man. He is supposed to be in his prime unless in real age he is not.
