Type Nigeria under20 v Senegal under 20 live on YouTube

    • Dropped 5 players groomed by EPL teams…..Even dropped an EPL debutant….. Dropped many quality players including foreign trained players…..Bosso said they were not good enough for his team……one would expect that his team to be world class……But all I saw today was just a bunch of untalented dudes that have been overdrilled and exhausted by training…… Nigerian coaches are business men and I hope Bosso gets his share if any of them ever have a foreign deal……. Clueless

Nigeria is dominating but the nobody is shooting, they’re looking for clear cut chance which is not yet available.

      How are u watching it@Chima

      • Chima E Samuels 1 year ago

beIN sport xtra channel 1. Unfortunately Senegalese coach is showing more determination and this translates to his team creating and taking their first real chance before he went to sit unlike Bosso who’s just silent throughout the first half. May God help our football.

    Nigeria are not playing well.

  • respect is reciprocal 1 year ago

Still the same Manu Garda mentality. the boys are fit and ready to run 100 miles but got less brain. have known the coach to embrace physical running up and down football to passing skilful type of game. the defence is tight . Nigeria is one goal down let’s wait and see how the second game goes. but with what have seen there are no natural dribblers, and ballers in this team they only look fit and athletic.

    • Chima E Samuels 1 year ago

Abeg don’t bring Manu Garba legacy down here. Let’s wait until the match is over before analysing anything. This team has come down from a goal and won previous matches. I’m not a fan of Bosso but the boys are organised except the fact that the NO9 is not taking his chances at a glance but rather looking to dribble a robust Senegalese defensive line before shooting which is hard to come by.

      • respect is reciprocal 1 year ago

Am free to give my own analysis of the game just as you are free to express yourself. That is my definition of Manu Garda coaching mentality. His own philosophy is strength over every other thing. Am not being negative but just voicing my opinion especially when news flying around was that the team is good offensively.
so mr Chima stick to your opinion and don’t tell me what to write or not.

        • Chima E Samuels 1 year ago

I repeat Bosso and Garba is not in the same class you’re wrong don’t compare them again. Garba’s philosophy doesn’t include misplaced passes and also they create endless chances. You don’t watch football so I’m not surprised by your expression.

OK oh…for like 3 months we’ve been hearing news of goals galore, time to perform now…

    • Abraham 1 year ago

The people them use for the camping wey Dem drop na them dey score the goals na why l… Why will you have someone like Emmanuel Justin and at the last stage you drop him when is even better than 90% of the squad that travelled for the tournament. I wish them success but the Way

  • Proudly 9ja 1 year ago

1:0:for senegal. Adams had a glorious chance to take d lead for 9ja but his shot was blocked. He should have taken it 1st time but tried to beat his man and shoot. Daniel Daga hurt and taken off 1st half

  • Shola 1 year ago

Go to Facebook and search Nigeria u20 vs senegal u20 afrosport TV

  • Proudly 9ja 1 year ago

In myy view the teams are equally matched or maybe give Senegal a slight advantage but very balanced game. We have created the better chances. I see us coming back. Its d 1st game, so a cagey affair is normal, we should come out stronger 2nd half. However we should keep our shape and be resolute at the back. 2nd half about to start

  • respect is reciprocal 1 year ago

I heard the commentator saying our keeper is just U17 , am I right? Am I seeing a different face on the screen ?

    • Bode 1 year ago

Yes he is under 17, he also plays for the Under 17 too. So whats wrong with his face, Haven’t you seen white under 17 with beards before.

  • Selfmade KING 1 year ago

Nigerians are floating the balls in the air knowing that the Senegalese are taller!

The wingers of Nigeria should get to the by lines and do a CUT IN or cut in pass to throw the Senegalese defenders off balance!

Floating the ball into the air will make it easy for them

    • respect is reciprocal 1 year ago

@selfmade king that is why I said the coach is rigid and lack the necessary intelligent needed in this type of Tournament though he is an experienced coach.

  • Selfmade KING 1 year ago

Nigeria should start looking for midfielders too!! It seems Nigerians are nowadays relying too much on wing play!

In moan or there games, they don’t use their midfield but rather relies heavily on wingers!

Mark and cut the wingers out and their game becomes flat!

Senegal  is dominating the midfield damn

    • Greenturf 1 year ago

Correct analysis @Selfmade King. Our team is disappointing i have stopped watching seen enough!

  • Selfmade KING 1 year ago

The GAPPING HOLE in the NIGERIAN midfield is shocking and infantile to say the least!

The Senegalese can take the ball and ran through it and no one is even around to fouled them

Senegalese has caught up with both Ghana and Nigeria football

    • Greenturf 1 year ago

Senegal rather has surpassed the two countries you mentioned in fact they are way better

      • Selfmade KING 1 year ago

And it seems their coaches have become tactical superior to coaches in both nations

See how the Senegalese coach has structured his team on the field with two hard tackling midfielders who aren’t afraid to run into tackles whiles Nigerian team looked poorly structured with each bal floated to the wingers!

There’s no plan B for Nigeria just as Ghana when our wing play falls flat!!

I can’t believe what corruption has done to the two nations

Instead of taking our local coaches to European schools to upgrade their football knowledge, we spent all our monies on fufu and light soup lol

        • Muhammad, faheed. 1 year ago

The coaches are dull. You. One don’need go to Europe for coaching school. Watch matches, do reach on good clubs abroad, and select naturally talented boys from the South south , south east combine to prosecute games because those region are naturally gifted with soccer talent. No two ways about it. Let’s get it right.

        • U r mad funny man! (lol)

  • Chima E Samuels 1 year ago

What makes a footballer if you can not pass and create chances??? Nigeria football gives you fever of late because there’s nothing technical except kick and follow. Manu Garba creates chances so nobody should compare this aimless pattern of play to Manu Garba. Football in Nigeria need coaches like Manu Garba to put a stop to all this embarrassment of losing matches and playing nonsense football.

  • Footballfanatic 1 year ago

Manu Garba just go pack short players…. Deceived us with Fugazzi friendlies with mediocre teams lol……These team played rubbish. No clear cut chance from a coach who has been coaching since u20 since 2007. Nonsense

    • Kamoru 1 year ago

And who told you Manu garba is the coach for the team. Please if you have nothing sensible to say, just keep quiet. WHats all this fuss about Manu garba, please go back and watch his teams it is nothing compared to this selected garbage

    • Footballfanatic 1 year ago

      Ladan Bosso*****

      • Chima E Samuels 1 year ago

Footballfanatic made a mistake jare and leave Respect is reciprocal alone to be saying what he doesn’t know.

  • Toluwase 1 year ago

I tot they said these guys are good they have played 50 million matches unbeaten.

They are totally rubbish. They can not even complete a single pass.

    Nonsense!

    • Footballfanatic 1 year ago

NA fuggazzi friendlies with teams such as yum yum FC lol of course they will win. This man had over 300 players for trials and even sent an Arsenal and Aston villa players back to England cuz he didn’t believe they could cope with the rigors of African football…Senegal outmuscled us no lie

  • respect is reciprocal 1 year ago

It’s only an organisation that is directionless that would employ a tactical novice like Manu Garda as coach . What yardstick has he used to select these players ? many foreign born players came for trial he could select most of them for reason best known to him. A lazy coach who didn’t comb the country to select skilful and intelligent players to represent us but pick mostly league players. . how have they been winning supposed matches ? worst Nigeria team in terms of yellow card received and red card.
I was expecting Senegal will be beaten black and blue according to news flying around about this team and how good they are.

    • JimmyBall 1 year ago

…Ladan Bosso not Manu Garba. Man’s team will always play wonderful football.

    • Sammy 1 year ago

POINT OF CORRECTION PLEASE. THE COACH OF THE FLYING EAGLES IS LADAN BOSSO AND NOT MANU GARDA. THANKS
Personally l don’t see this team qualifying from this group going by their standard of play. Egypt and Mozambique are not push overs.
The same omen following the super falcon seems to be at work with this team too. We are watching.

  • JimmyBall 1 year ago

…This Ladan Bosso is a suspect coach. How come the qualifiers has a team who played better football than this squad for the tournament proper?

…When young talented players come from abroad, they will say they can’t cope with tempo of African football and you wait to see those picked and you realise they lack proper talent.

…I am really disappointed in this bunch and feel the players are always not often selected on merit. Now you ask, the boy who just moved to Inter Milan, how come he was not even scouted before the qualifiers?

  • JimmyBall 1 year ago

These players are people with sponsors and backers.

    • Selfmade KING 1 year ago

In Ghana we call them AGENCY PLAYERS lol

Play my players so that when they nicked a foreign contract, we shared the PROFITS….

Ghana fa are masters of AGENCY PLAYERS haha

    • onwajunior 1 year ago

Yep… Can’t believe I’m agreeing with you here

It was very glaring Jimmy. Couldn’t comprehend the garbage i was watching. This is very sad

Coorrreecctt. God-fatherism and money at play.

  • Proudly 9ja 1 year ago

Thats all she wrote folks, we just lost. The team needs major improvement. The Ahmed Abdulahi dat was waited for was garbage. To crown his effort he was issued a red card lol. So the team waited for this? Its still one game, kudos to d sebegalese team, they were very organized and controlled the midfield, very solid display by senegal. The FE must learn to keep d ball on d ground instead of playing long balls knowing d senegaleses will intercept it every time. Our goalie was guilty of this on numerous occasions, he is no alluson or ederson, keep it simple and start from d back instead of hurriedly punting d ball to no one in particular gifting d ball to d senegales. I still think we should make it out of dis group. This is a kick in d butt to wake up d boys. Now dia backs are against d wall, so they need to bounce back. Mozambique defended well against an egyptian team with some quality playets like the #21 and #20. Lets get a favorable result in our next match. A 4pt should get u through to d next round. Hiwever, we must get a good resukt in our next match to have any chance of making it out of this group. Goid luck to d FE.

  • Codex 1 year ago

Today’s match was infuriating I think Ladan Bosso got his tactics wrong and they are as thus:
    1. Uncompressed Midfield which meant that the Senegalese can dribble and run through our midfield at ease and that led to defence being exposed.
    2. Why did he not encourage his boys to move the ball quickly around the pitch, keep possession and draw the Senegalese out before bursting quickly through their lines, again the Midfield or lack of it are responsible for not showing for passes which leads to what we all saw which is lump balls aimlessly towards the forwards.
Today’s performance is a real eye opener, hope the coach works out the deficiencies in this team otherwise the knives will be out.

  • Chudynak 1 year ago

The downward spiral continues for all Nigerian teams. Ladan Bosso could only give us a team that had one shot on target and a red card in the whole of 90 minutes. I await his excuses! Taxpayers money is being wasted on persons who only bring mediocrity when excellence is demanded. I would rather we call it quits from these shows of shame called participation in football

  • Kanayo 1 year ago

Where do i begin, Why was BOSSO on the bench in the second half and his assistance making calls. This is the worst selected Flying Eagles are have ever witnessed in my life. The commentator said it right that Nigeria is known for producing the best players at this stage. This is just an eye sore. Even though Senegal was no different. Wasted my time watching this game

  • Footballfanatic 1 year ago

So help me understand something…..Ladan Bozo waited for this Gent or Genk guy to come and get red card….The guy was not part of the camping at all and only arrived 3 days ago but he sent those foreign based back to their clubs cuz they can’t cope with African football…..This man is either clueless, a fraud, or just str8 up daft…

  • Summary of the match..Nigeria only 1 shot on target for 90+5..

  • Dr. Drey 1 year ago

So much for 1994 squad wingplay 442 nonsense.

How many times have I reiterated on this forum that if we play the system and type of football we played 30 years ago we will get flattened in no time by more dynamic teams …?

We will hopefully qualify to the qfinals as one of the best looters.

Nigerian football has suddenly become an eyesore…..yet the so-called technical director still has a job.

    • Papafem 1 year ago

Are you surprised? He’s also a proponent of that system. A leader’s weakness is a leading weakness

  • Mercy 1 year ago

The FE team is missing a good AM and a proper striker, which was also evident in the WAFU tournament. Hopefully they qualify for WC, the team injection of atleast 4-5 good players.

  • Chudynak 1 year ago

I think the absence of VAR is already affecting the tournament. That Mozambique goal against Egypt should have stood while the goal against Nigeria should have been overruled for offside!
