Samuel Chukwueze marked the new Serie A season with an assist, as AC Milan defeated Torino 2-1 away on Sunday, completesports.com reports.
Chukwueze was in the starting lineup and saw action for 90 minutes for Ruben Amorim’s side.
With Milan up by 1-0, thanks to Alphadjo Cisse’s 64th minute opener, Chukwueze then set up Adrien Rabiot who made it 2-0 in the 67th minute.
In the 93rd minute Torino pulled a goal back courtesy Che Adams, which was just a consolation strike.
The win puts Milan in fourth position in the league standing after the first round of matches played.

Chukwueze would hope to impress new head coach Amorim in order to continue to command first team action for the Italian giants.
Last season Chukwueze was with Premier League club Fulham on loan where he featured in 23 Premier League games, scored three goals and made four assists.
Meanwhile, it was not the best of start to life in the Italian topflight for Akor Adams, following Venezia’s 2-0 home loss to Lecce.
Adams featured for 90 minutes but could not prevent his side from going down at home.
Adams joined Venezia in the summer transfer window from Spanish La Liga outfit Sevilla, where he netted 10 goals, provided three assists in 32 league appearances.
