Super Eagles winger, Ademola Lookman was on the score sheet as Atalanta overcome Fiorentina 1-0 in Sunday’s Serie A game.
The Nigerian international, who was making his eight appearance, has scored 2 goals and bagged three assists this ongoing season.
Lookman netted the only goal of the game in the 59th minute to send the crowd into frenzy.
It was a goal that secured the maximum points for Atalanta.
Recall that the 24-year-old joined Atalanta in August from RB Leipzig in a deal worth around €9m, putting pen to paper on a four-year contract.
Atalanta’s win means that they’re still right at the top of the Serie A table alongside Napoli with 20 points, securing six wins and two draws in their opening eight games.
La Dea’s next match is against an in-form Udinese side next weekend, another tough test for Gasperini and his squad.
