Serie A: Osimhen Ready For ‘Tough’ Juventus Test After Win Vs Sampdoria

Napoli forward, Victor Osimhen says the team is now focused on their next Serie A clash against Juventus.

The Partenopei got their title aspirations back on track with a comfortable 2-0 win against 10-man Sampdoria at the Stadio Cominale Luigi Ferraris on Sunday night.

Osimhen opened scoring for Napoli on 19 minutes after he was set up by Mario Rui, while Elf Elmas netted the second eight minutes from time.

Luciano Spalletti’s side will entertain Juventus at the Estadio Diego Armando Maradona on Friday.

Juventus stayed in second position, seven points of Napoli, after AC Milan were held to a 2-2 draw by AS Roma on Sunday night.

Osimhen insisted that he and his teammates will prepare adequately for the game.

“Big game, big team, we have a great squad and the most important thing is to win. Any player can make the difference for us,”Osimhen told DAZN.

“Now we go back, relax and then start training to prepare for the game with Juventus.”
