This boy should be in our national team instead of onuachu who has refused to improve,or even iheanacho

He’s improving and doing well. Any Nigerian player playing at a high level consistently deserve a look in. However, you don’t sunddenly throw away your old tools just because you found a new one..National team football is different from club football. Time and again, we have seen players very good at club level but for some unexplained reasons, fail to replicate the same form at national level.Me think Iheanacho could still be useful to Nigeria national team considering his talent which have never been in doubt.

You have a point . Even Ronaldo Lima admits that a it is the kind of striker he would like to have in his team . I’m wondering whether Rohr is playing sentiments in team selection. Well we all have to wait and see.

Besides there are a lot of strikers in the team that would want to fight so hard to make it to the national team.

I strongly feel he should be but at the expense of who i don’t know (Gernot’ call). I loved what i saw of him at the Rio Olympics and definitely delighting me now as well.

For Sadiq everything is falling into place. All he needs now is humility and a wise head.

Keep up the fire burning Sadiq.
Steven Gerard will forever regret not doing the right thing with you.

Super eagles calling sooner than later. Remain humble, train hard and maintain the confidence…

I strongly believe that Sevilla fc is a stepping stone for you just like your past clubs.

  • I love this guy’s style of play… I’m sure Rohr will invite him for the next international match. I also read from a reliable source that FIFA have approved the switch of 6 players with dual nationality. 8 foregn based actually applied.
    top of the list are…
    Ademola Lookman Fulham FC
    Jorden Torunarigha Herther BSC
    Nathan Tella Southampton FC
    Tosin Adarabioyo Fulham FC
    Evie Ejaria Reading FC
    Noni Maduekwe PSV
    Sheyi Ojo Cardiff City
Ike Ugbo Cercle Brugge on loan from Chelsea FC

And I’m definitely sure Rohr will include Sadiq Umar in his next list because of his current form.
    Hmmmm
Can’t wait for Rohr’s next call up
    God bless Nigeria!!

Hopefully they won’t invite iheanacho and Onuachu and ignore you again. I know the lad will blend well with the other young eagle ballers.

Sadiq will be a good addition to the burgeoning SuperEagles attack no doubt. Just like Onuachu playing in Belgium and expecting him to make the same leap when he get to one of the top 5 leagues in Europe. I expect Sadiq too to light up the La Liga when he help Almeria to promotion or get a deal with a one of the Liga teams. I hope he gets a call up in March to show what he can bring to the table. He was absolutely fantastic for Nigeria at the Olympics in 2016 which shows he has the passion to represent the SuperEagles with dignity. Our attack is brimming with quality so anyone who is inform will definitely get the nod. It’s now up to them to take their chances when given.

I don’t think the report of Sadiq moving to Seville is true as they already have En neyri and De Jong. En neyri scored a hattrick last game and we all saw the exploits of De Jong in the Europa last season. I think Sadiq will end up playing 2nd fiddle to both strikers which won’t be good for his confidence. A striker needs to be playing regularly to be at top form. Sadiq shouldn’t be in a rush to move and finish his season with Almeria b4 securing a move to a team without an inform top 9. I wish him all the best in his decision tho as I think and have always said he is a striker that will do well in the SE. To me of all the other strikers other than osimen, Sadiq is the best if the lot imho.

  • 80m if sold at the end of the season, and 60m if sold this month now that is what im talking about. Sadiq my man your on your way. But if I may suggest, I would rather you stay till the end of the season, the reason being you will have more offers to choose from, you would probably be among the highest goal scorers in the segunda league in spain plus you will be starting on a fresh slate.you have really improved as a STRIKER. Your finishing is top notch and your confidence is high. I wont be surprised if ROMA wants you back as well. As for the Super Eagles team, I believe you will be called up very soon. Keep on scoring goals!!!!

Onuachu just scored two but he still doesn’t have the skill set of Sadiq that will be effective to lead the super eagles frontline.

Don’t tell me you believe this bs transfer rumour. No club will spend more than 25m on a div2 player it was the same Nigerian sporting websites that said partizan won’t sell him for anything less than £30m….Almeria signed him for £6m tho….
Sadiq is immensely talented but we all know about his off-field antics hopefully he’s matured up…huge potential @ sportsfan

  • Just because his club has set a price on sadiq doesn’t mean thats exactly how much they will sell him for. A footballers transfer fee in most cases is negotiable. Especially when there are only few clubs willing to pay the asking price. But im celebrating the fact that his club really rate him high and that high profile clubs are beginning to show interest in him. From all indications, he might not leave almeria just yet. But it feels good hearing clubs value Nigerian players as high as they are worth even if at the end the price is cut down.
