Sheffield United are expected to field a strong side when they take on non-league Matlock Town in a friendly on Tuesday. Blades boss Chris Wilder wants to give some of his first-team squad a run-out at the Proctor Cars Stadium against the Northern Premier League outfit, with the likes of midfielder Mark Duffy and striker Leon Clarke among those expected to travel.

Matlock have also claimed on their website that summer signings Luke Freeman, Ravel Morrison and Lys Mousset are also set to feature in the warm-up game alongside Richard Stearman, Jake Wright, Ben Heneghan and Kean Bryan.
The Blades are continuing to build up for the new Premier League season and will be expected to record a morale-boosting win over Matlock, who operate in the seventh tier of English football. Wilder’s side take on French team Reims on Saturday in their final friendly before they go to Bournemouth for the season-opener on August 10.
