Nigeria internationals, Shehu Abdullahi and Anthony Nwakaeme are set to lock horns with each other as their clubs clash in a Turkish Super Lig game tonight, Completesports.com reports.
Shehu’s Bursaspor await Nwakaeme’s Trabzonspor at the Timsah Arena with the home side hopeful of grabbing all three points to move clear of the drop zone.
Shehu who has played eight league matches for Bursaspor and scored once this season was not listed in the club’s 1-0 loss away to Alanyaspor last weekend. But he is now poised to feature in this home game, urging the fans to troop out and cheer the team to victory.
“Big home game tonight against Trabzonspor. Dear @BursasporSk fans, let’s fight this together! Let’s believe #WeAreBursaspor,” Shehu tweeted on Friday morning.
Nwakaeme on the other hand bagged his ninth league goal of the season for Trabzonspor who battered Antalayaspor 4-1 in a Turkish Super Lig game last week Friday.
He also made an assist, and the 30-year-old striker have so far netted 10 times and created five in 24 outings in all competitions this term.
