Huddersfield Town boss Jan Siewert says January signing Karlan Grant was not ready to make his debut against Chelsea this weekend.
The 21-year-old was signed before the deadline shut on Thursday from Charlton Athletic, with the Terriers paying £2million for his services.

Siewert is hoping he can make a big impact as he tries to steer the club away from the relegation zone this season.
Erik Durm and Laurent Depoitre were left out of the squad for the trip to Stamford Bridge, while Grant earned a place on the bench.
Town were already 3-0 down when Grant came on and Siewert insists the former Addicks man still needs more time to get to grips with his management style.
“Karlan needs time in terms of physicality and getting used to the game and to my game,” Siewert told reporters. “I am glad that he showed already (when he went on) why we signed him but, starting? That would have been too early for this game.”
