Simeone Focused On Atleti – Completesports

Atletico Madrid boss Diego Simeone has urged his side to focus on their own game and not worry about Saturday’s El Clasico.

Real Madrid are preparing to host arch-rivals Barcelona, with frontrunners Barca currently seven points clear of second-placed Atletico in the La Liga standings.

Speaking ahead of Sunday match at Real Sociedad, Simeone was adamant all the focus has to be on their own preparation and not what happens at the Santiago Bernabeu. “We have to think about ourselves,” Simeone said. “Basically, we always depend on ourselves, whatever happens, so that we can remain competing in La Liga.”
