Simon Eager To Shine For Nantes With Improved Form

Nigeria winger Moses Simon has admitted that he still has more work to do despite a good start to his career with French Ligue 1 outfit, Nantes, reports Completesports.com.

Simon, who is on loan at Nantes from Spanish club, Levante has scored two goals and recorded one assist in eight league appearances for Christian Gourcuff’s side.

“We still have a lot of work to do, we need to work hard as a team and I think I have to be more consistent with my performance,” Simon told a press conference ahead of Friday’s home clash against Monaco.

“It is important to also focus on the goal of the team which is winning games.”

The 24-year-old is noted for his somersault goal celebrations and he has promised to limit the number when he score his next goal.

“My record [back flips] is about 15 but I do not think I will do the same on my next goal,” he said.

Nantes who lost 1-0 away to Metz in their last league game are second in the table behind champions Paris Saint Germain.
