Super Eagles duo, Moses Simon and Samuel Kalu , will clash in the Ligue 1 opening fixture for the 2020/21 season at the Stade Matmut-Atlantique, Bordeaux on Friday, reports Completesports.com.
Simon, who plays for Nantes will come up against Girondis Bordeaux’s Kalu in the Altalntic
Derby.
Young forward, Josh Maja is also expected to feature for Bordeaux in the game.
The game originally billed for Saturday was brought forward by La Ligue de Football Professional after the original opening day fixture between Olympic Marseille and Saint Etienne was affected by positive coronavirus test results.
Four Marseille players tested positive for coronavirus.
Simon, who was voted Nantes’s player of the season , scored five goals in 26 league appearances for the Yellow and Green last term.
Kalu scored once and recorded two assists in 20 league outings for Bordeaux.
