Super Eagles winger Moses Simon has been shortlisted for Nantes’ August Player of the Month award, Completesports.com reports.
The four-man shortlist was announced on the club’s official website on Saturday.
Simon will slug it out with the trio of Alban Lafont, Nicolas Pallois and Ludovic Blas for the award.
Despite Nantes’ not too impressive start to the Ligue 1 season (one win, one draw, two defeats), Simon has been a shining light for them, providing three assists in four games.

He kicked off the new Ligue 1 campaign with an assist in Nantes’ 1-1 draw at AS Monaco.
He then provided two assists in Nantes’ 2-0 home win against Metz in their second game in the top-flight.
The club fans have until Monday afternoon to vote among the four players who their Player of the Month of August is.
It would be recalled that Simon was in action for the Eagles in Friday’s 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Liberia.
The Eagles won 2-0 thanks to first half brace from Kelechi Iheanacho.
