Liverpool manager Arne Slot has expressed confidence that the Reds will be a different team in the 2026-27 season, promising both improved results and a change in how the side plays following a disappointing 2025-26 campaign.
Despite a 1-1 draw with Chelsea being met with boos at Anfield on Saturday, Slot in a chat with the club’s website, pledged to turn the atmosphere around and win back supporters by addressing the team’s issues in the coming months.

“I do,” said Slot on whether he thinks he can win the fans back over.
“Not this season by the way. This season they will have their opinion and it will not change.
“If we can have the summer that we are planning to have, then I’m 100 percent convinced that we will be a different team next season than we are now. Different in terms of results, different in how things look.”
