Nigerian media executive and digital entrepreneur, Solomon Ojeagbase, has announced the successful completion of his PhD in Digital Transformation and Artificial Intelligence.
Dr Ojeagbase, an Executive Director and Manager of the Digital Marketing Division at Complete Communications Limited (CCL), was awarded the Philosophiae Doctor (PhD) by the Ecole Supérieure Robert de Sorbon, France.
The qualification is at Bac+8 and UNESCO ISCED Level 8, with the diploma conferred on 19 May 2026.
Dr. Ojeagbase Highlights Importance Of Continuous Learning
Reflecting on the achievement, Ojeagbase described it as more than an academic qualification, saying it represents the importance of continuous learning, curiosity and innovation.

He noted that his experience in digital transformation and artificial intelligence had strengthened his belief that technology delivers the greatest impact when applied with purpose, responsible leadership and an understanding of its effect on people, businesses and society.
“It is a reflection of the importance of continuous learning, curiosity, innovation, and the courage to embrace emerging technologies that are reshaping our world,” Dr. Ojeagbase stated.
“My journey in digital transformation and artificial intelligence has reinforced my conviction that technology is most powerful when it is applied with purpose, responsible leadership, and a clear understanding of its impact on people, businesses, and society.”
Focus On AI And Digital Transformation In Africa
As he celebrates the milestone, Ojeagbase said he intends to apply the knowledge and insights gained from his studies towards driving meaningful innovation and advancing digital transformation.
He also expressed his desire to contribute to the responsible development and adoption of artificial intelligence, particularly across Africa.

Ojeagbase ended his announcement with a message emphasising that his academic achievement represents the beginning of another phase of learning and impact.
