Solskjaer Thumbs Up Ighalo’s Performance In FA Cup Win Vs Derby

Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was pleased to see Odion Ighalo take his chance in Thursday’s Emirates FA Cup 3-0 win against Derby County at the Pride Park.

Ighalo bagged a brace in the encounter with Luke Shaw scoring the other goal for the Red Devils.

“When you get strikers in you want them to be happy and confident,” he told BT Sport.

“He has come in here and of course we still have a few injuries and it is great for us to have Odion to call upon.

“He is a different striker for us and scores some good goals, there are not many who could dig that one out for his first. We have a team of good players.”

United will face Norwich City in the quarter-final at the Carrow Road.

Ighalo should be in the line up for Nigeria as the cap. Please Odion, go back home. Nigeria needs you. You are just too good to be playing outside alone

Edoman, you like better thing ooo! I feel you though. If Odion is open to coming back, that would be great for Nigeria. Imagine Rohr having Ighalo, Osimhen, Dessers, Iheanacho to pick and choose from! Imagine Ighalo and Osimhen playing upfront! The stuff of dreams. For now, all we can do is wish him a happy retirement. The guy don try, no be small. Also wish him well on his Man United adventure. The Man United fans are going crazy about him. I even read one calling him “the greatest”. Let’s hope he continues to shake the net nonchalantly till the end of the season!
