Spurs plan to hand Son Heung-min an improved deal in the near future, despite the fact he signed an extension in the summer.
Son penned new terms in July and is under contract until 2023 but Spurs plan to offer the forward an improved deal after his strong performances this term.
The forward has been in exceptional form since returning from the Asian Cup with South Korea, with four goals in as many appearances, and he appears set for his best season for the north Londoners, with 11 goals in 23 Premier League games so far.

Son has impressed during Harry Kane’s injury absence and opened the scoring in last week’s 3-0 Champions League win over Borussia Dortmund, with manager Mauricio Pochettino labelling his display as “fantastic”.
It has been claimed Spurs intend to offer Son a new deal worth around £150,000-a-week, which would make him the club’s second highest paid player behind Kane, with his current contract believed to be £110,000-a-week.
