Yira Sor is set to spend around six weeks on the sidelines after suffering a hamstring injury, Completesports.com reports.
Sor picked up the injury during Amedspor’s 2-1 victory over Trabzonspor at the Seyrantepe Spor Kompleksi Stadyumu on Monday.
The winger had earlier drawn the hosts level in first-half stoppage time, cancelling out Mohamed Salah’s opener for Trabzonspor.
However, the 26-year-old was unable to continue after the break and was replaced by compatriot Gift Orban four minutes into the second half.

Orban went on to score the winning goal for Amedspor in the 90th minute.
Amedspor Confirm Sor Injury Blow
Amedspor confirmed the extent of Sor’s injury following medical examinations.
“MRI scans of Yira Sor revealed an approximately 11-centimeter-long muscle injury in his left biceps femoris (hamstring). Treatment and rehabilitation are expected to last approximately six weeks,” the club stated on their official website.
He joined Besnik Hasi’s side from Belgian Pro League club KRC Genk last month.
The Nigerian has scored one goal in three league appearances for the Turkish Super Lig outfit this season.
