Umar Sadiq got a goal and provided two assists in Almeria’s 3-1 home win against Real Sociedad B, in the Spanish Segunda (second division) on Thursday, Completesports.com reports.

7 goals and 5 assists (12 goal contributions) at just matchday 11.

Sadiq, please you have ‘outgrown’ the Segunda division. Seek a move to the top leagues where you belong and don’t waste your peak years in lower division oblivion. Even if Rohr invites you to the SE now, International breaks do not statutorily apply to lower divisions and your club is not obliged to release you.

Now would have been the time to secure you own place in the SE for the foreseeable future, along with the likes of Osimhen, Awoniyi, Moffi and Iheancho.

It’s Obvious if u watch him that he is supposed to be an integral part of the S.E team..I rate him far higher than all S.E strikers except Osihmen..And he compliments Osihmen very well in that he can play in tight spaces while Osihmen find it difficult to operate in tight spaces. For instance if we had a substitute like him when we played CAR in Lagos it would have been wise to substitute him for Osihmen because of the massive CAR defense that pack bus and limited the available spaces.I would have scored and redeem us. Pls Rohr should think fast and deeply on how to make this guy an integral part of SE going forward.

  • BIG NUMBER 9 PLAYING IN A LEAGUE HE HAS SO OBVIOUSLY OUTGROWN. HE NEEDS A BIGGER CHALLENGE. HE IS PLAYING FOR FUN AT THE MOMENT. NO FITNESS ISSUES HERE. THE GUY SHOULD RETURN TO THE ITALIAN SERIE A, HE CAN DO GREAT THINGS THERE.

He deserve to be in super eagles. I know him with Mikael Obi, ogenekoro at former Olympics. The guy is a good striker with conny tactics.

  • It’s not an easy decision for Sadiq to leave Almeria, though it’s the right thing for his development.
Almeria is a beautiful city by the sea, with nice beaches. The fans love him, the club needs him, life is great for him there. To just pack up and go to the unknown is not easy. But he needs to do this to develop as a player.
Either way, he is good enough to be in the SE.

  • ITS THE RIGHT AMOUNT OF MONEY THAT IS KEEPING SADIQ THERE MEHN. ONCE A TEAM COMES WITH THE RIGHT AMOUNT OF MONEY, ALMERIA OFFICIALS WILL HELP HIM PACK HIS LUGGAGE. IM NOT SAYING THEY WONT MISS HIM, OFCOURSE THEY WILL BUT FOOTBALL IS BUSINESS AND THEY INTEND TO MAKE A LOT OF MONEY OFF HIM.
AND SADIQ, EVERYONE KNOWS YOUR BIGGER THAN YOUR CURRENT LEAGUE, SO PLEASE TAKE IT EASY ON THE DEFENDERS MARKING YOU. HIS FIRST ASSIST VS SOCIEDAD B WAS BEAUTIFULLY DONE. I JUST WATCHED THE HIGHLIGHTS AND I HAVE DECIDED THAT SADIQ NEEDS TO MOVE TO A BIGGER CLUB AND LEAGUE.
