Tottenham midfielder Luke Amos has joined Championship club QPR on a season-long loan deal. Amos featured in Spurs’ pre-season tour last summer and made his Premier League debut at Newcastle in last August, but he suffered a season-ending cruciate ligament injury in a Development Squad fixture just weeks later.
The 22-year-old, who is under contract with Spurs until 2021, has now been allowed to head out on loan and will link up with QPR for the 2019/20 campaign.
Amos is keen to make the most of his time at QPR after a frustrating season on the sidelines. “It has been a tough nine months,” Amos told QPR’s website. “I am really excited now. I haven’t wasted a day in that whole time. I feel physically fit and the next step for me is being back in games.”
