Stoke Announce Etebo’s Loan Move To Galatasaray

Championship club Stoke City have confirmed that Oghenekaro Etebo has joined Turkish giants Galatasaray on loan for next season, Completesports.com reports.

Stoke announced Etebo’s loan move on their verified Twitter handle on Wednesday.

“Peter Etebo has this evening joined Turkish side Galatasaray on a season-long loan.”

This will be Etebo’s second loan spell away from Stoke since joining them on 2018.

Last season he went on loan to LaLiga side Getafe where he played 10 games and scored one goal.

  • Honestly it has not been best of move for Nigeria players this season. What happen to him staying in Getafe? A mid table team in team in Spain would have been better than this turkey team. Good luck to him though.

  • Yet some on this forum will say we don’t need Eze because we have Etebo… Some Nigerians on this Form I tire for Una. In still saying that I still rate Peter Etebo over Mikel Agu and Ogenyi Onazi any day anytime. But Kelechi Nwakali is being primed for that Number 10 and will get it this year God willing and If Eze comes then the two can fight it out for starting 11 that’s the type of good healthy and Positive competition we need in the SE. Not, bringing mediocre players into the Super Eagles who can’t even cut in the top 5 leagues in Europe.

    Funny Nigerians Like to form “Giant Of Africa” I think it is high time we start walking the talk enough of settling for Mediocrity.
