Success Provides Second League Assist As Udinese Lose Away, Extend Winless Run

Isaac Success provided his second assist in the Serie A this season but Udinese lost 3-1 away to Empoli on Monday, Completesports.com reports.

The defeat means Udinese are winless in their last five games (suffering two defeats and three draws).

Success, who made his seventh league appearance, set up Deulofeu for the opening goal in the 22nd minute.

But second half goals from Petar Stojanovic, Nedim Bajrami and Andrea Pinamonti, earned Empoli the comeback win.

Udinese are now in 14th position on 16 points in the league standing.

Empoli climbed above Sassuolo and are tied on points with Hellas Verona at 10th in the table, as Andreazzoli’s men continue to impress in their first season back in the top division.

I saw this game. The only thing about Success that looked a bit off to me was his weight. He looked a bit heavy. And I might be wrong about this. Some people are healthy and fit with a few extra pounds than the average person.
Apart from that, Success was quite ok. I won’t say I was surprised by his good performance, because we already knew he was good from his past. There is a reason he was starting ahead of Awoniyi at the U-17 team.
The issue was always his consistency. Loss of form, injuries, and other non-football related stuff.
But one thing is sure. If Success is serious, the dude is a baller.
The assist he gave today was sumptuous. His dribbling, pace, hold up play had me thinking we could use this guy in the SE. However, I will resist the urge to recommend him for the SE just yet.
If he can just consistently perform like he did in this match, and try to shed a few pounds, his game could be on the up. Then I would recommend his call up.
The guys I do want to recommend, based on current form, are Akinkunmi Amoo and Obinna Nwobodo.
Amoo is a no-brainer. Forumites have been talking about him for a while now. Everyone knows how good he is.
Obinna however is a different story. I think people are mot clamoring for this guy because they haven’t watched him of recent.
Watch him play for his current club Gotzepe in the Turkish league. That guy is a quality box-to-box midfielder. His call up will add value to the team. Give the coach more options.
If we have guys like Ndidi, Onyeka, Tom Dele Bashiru and Obinna Nwobodo available for selection, those are good options to have.

  • Success is doing really well Udinese is Very good for Him.. KUDOS BRO!!!
