Success Targets First Goal In Six Months Vs Southampton

Super Eagles forward Isaac Success will be aiming to end his 17 game goal drought in the English Premier later today when Watford takes on Southampton at the Vicarage Road stadium reports Completesports.com.

Success last scored for Watford six months ago in their 3-0 win over Huddersfield Town on the 27th of October 2018.

The Nigerian international has made 27 EPL appearances (17 as a substitute) scoring one goal and providing one assist but has tallied four goals in 34 games so far this season in all competitions.

Meanwhile, Watford remains without suspended captain Troy Deeney for tonight’s visit of Southampton.

The striker was sent off in the recent 1-0 defeat to Arsenal and serves the second of a three-match ban.

“At this moment, I’m not thinking if we are going to be able to keep our position or not,” Watford head coach Javi Gracia said ahead of the game.

“To be honest, I prefer to be focused on our next game and we have to recover and try to prepare as best as possible.”

“This is the only way. At the end of the season, we can achieve something really special for us.”
