Like finish is not playing ooo. Man mean business, best of luck.
Please how are the names Chima Onyeike and Benjamin James, both Nigerians, “foreign assistants”?
Does living in Germany automatically make them “foreigners’? Na was o. an who NFF want to bamboozle.
Is this a matter of English comprehension difficulties or what? Is this a CSN error or the normal NFF blunders?
Why not just say 3 Nigerian assistants?
We know you went all Nigerian because you can’t part with any part of the the $4m Afcon silver-winning windfall and don’t want to account for it—courtesy FIFA protection.
Anything “foreign” will be too “expensive” for the “broke” NFF.
Even journalists at the unveiling will not be bold enough to ask the financial details of the contract for each of the members of the NFF coaching crew? How much is Finidi going to get monthly? What will be the salary of Amokachi, and these other 2 Nigerian (not foreign) assistants?
It’s possible the total salary outlay for all 3 for the month won’t be more than $20K. So they NFF will be too ashamed to disclose it. And Finidi is a perfect gentleman for them.
What if they renounced their citizenship, have you thought of that. More so they are based outside of the country, so that’s still makes them foreign based, please channel your negativity elsewhere and let guy do his Job. Of course if they were not comfortable with the contract offered to them they would have rejected it outright. Who knows they could have spread the $80k offered to Pasisero amongst the 4 names listed
“Renounced their citizenship.” Lol. Because Nigeria is at war? What a convenient excuse.
“Renounced citizenship” and yet appointed by the same despised country for a national assignment. How logical!
By your nursery school logic, Diasporans (and there are many here) are “foreigners”. And expatriates working in Nigerians are foreigners to their countrymen.
I know there are NFF agents here, but you can shut out the truth. Call it negatively or whatever you like, you’ll still be force-fed with the truth.
“Who knows they could have spread the $80k offered to Pasisero amongst the 4 names listed”
And Who knows they could have spread the only $10k amongst the 4 names listed.
Guy rest, You’ve said nothing but tried to defend corruption.
It’s really a waste of time explaining what renouncing their citizenship means? Maybe you someone here can help you with that, must Nigeria be at War for you to renounce your citizenship. Let me advise you by saying to stop cooking up stories about fraud without facts. Stop making up stuff in your head that their is corruption involved
Here’s a quick assignment to stop the honestly embarrassing argument on renouncing citizenship. Kindly provide just 3 reasons of your own why anyone might want to renounce their citizenship.
For context, it’s akin to renouncing a child or parent, rejecting a family name. It’s simply denying your heritage. You see, the reasons are typically strong like persecution for your strong beliefs or when a country that’s perpetually at war. It means you must really hate or have been hit by a country to renounce its citizenship.
Baba, you goofed. Stop arguing about this. Look for another infantile excuse to float on.
My friend please try and grow up. The man has a choice of how he wants to be identified irrespective of his last name. What yeye heritage are you saying. Abeg let this matter rest.
It’s all looking good on paper. I have to say though that – pay on play basis – is not sufficient motivator in my view for Finidi’s Assistants. It is mildly disappointing that the NFF couldn’t tie the guys to the pole of a time specific contract.
Anyway we do things counter-clockwise in Nigeria.
It looks like a decent team though. You have Nigerians who have majority of their careers at the level abroad and a Turkish spy/match analyst. The are guys who to me will want to write their name in Gold with Nigeria so will be well grounded in their advice and recommendations to the Big Boss.
Hopefully, this “Dream Coaching Team” will make the dreams of Super Eagles fans come true starting with June’s World Cup qualifiers.
Tall Benja as he was fondly called.I knew him growing up,stubborn and strong he was way my senior.A warrior!
A central defender by trade.
He was a runaway while playing for shooting stars in one of their away continental games on transit to Germany.
He and a few others got missing and never returned to the team.Germany became their home.
Benjamin James has dual nationality.
First a Nigerian then second a German.
James is not a foreign assistant. He’s a Nigerian based in Germany.
His younger sibling Monday James was part of the Nigerian 2005 class of flying eagles coached by Samson Siasia.Monday James too was a central defender and was a regular for the under20.
Bayelsa connection Samson Siasia,now Finito!
I love this 25-man squad reportedly released by Finidi. He seems to have eyes for real quality, although I would swap Akpoguma for Ajayi, and Aribo for Iheanacho.

A list like this can only be possible if Nigeria was a reasonable nation
If this is the list, then it’s probably one of the best in a long time.
I think njinmah is injured though. Let ihenancho replace him. And I will pick dele bushiru above aribo.
The highlight of the list is the defence.
Okoli? That’s just wonderful. Along with Adarabioyo – who might leave for man utd or spurs.
I’m impressed
This list can’t be true..na film trick. It’s just like what one us already responded with; this list can only be possible if Nigeria is a reasonable nation.
As of now, Nigeria is still lightyears away from being a reasonable nation.
It is not the real list. No left full back. This is an error of a list
Hahahahaha….This is a list only a foreign coach will release, not one to be released by an errand boy hell-bent on doing the bidding of his masters to use the SE to market homebased players.
Our entire defence is composed of foreign-borns…something Finidi and his 94 squad goons hate to see in the SE.
I still can forget how foreign borns Bassey, Akpoguma and Dessers couldn’t make Eguavoen’s 2022 AFCON squad because he couldn’t fly to Europe to watch them live, but an Nwakali form Spanish 2nd div and a recuperating Olisah Ndah from south afrian league made the final tournament squad without making the preliminary squad….LMAOoo
The list is jsut too ideal to be taken seriously.
I am using my eyes to see if any home based player’s name is in the list but I found none.
Meanwhile some reports say 4 were invited in the original list. Lol.
I saw this list on Facebook and I began to wonder if NIGERIA home based coaches have repented….. Or maybe the world is about to end…..
This can’t be true…. Indigenous coach release a formidable list…. No sentiment, ethnicity, tribalism, religion or god fatherism…..
Where will he (FINIDI) make his money?
Where will his cohort make their money when there’s no homebased player smuggled in through the window?
Think of the cabals, greedy agent and notable politicians, where will they get the players to sell?
All foreign based players with good record this season invited to the super eagles?
Just dey play…..
Fingers crossed while watching and expecting the NIGERIA indigenous coach list.
To think that we have this quality personnel at our disposal, yet we often play at half strength, is hard to explain.
Hopefully, this list is genuine (it’s on FB, as UBFE said, and posted by some credible sources close to he NFF), and administrative bottlenecks for some of the new additions are sorted. Finidi too is promising to be guided by merit and current club forms only. Will be great if he keeps his word and resist all outside pressures.
All fit and on their A game, there are very few teams in the world that can beat this assemblage.
lol Slim shady will never release this list, Slim shady list will include three home based players, four liabilities based on tribe and sentiment. Who’s willing to bet me?
